Alexander's POV

I got Micheal to his room and laid him on the bed. It broke my heart when he backed away from me to the other corner of the bed when I let him free. Does he hate me? Did I make a mistake? My wolf Xander, whined when our mate ran away from us the moment we freed him. Did we make any mistake?

"Micheal...." I called him softly. I wanted to sit on his bed, and pull him into my arms while patting his back and asking him what I did wrong but the way he just ran away from me made me realize that if I get closer to him then he will go farther away and I don't want that.

"Micheal" I called him once again. He finally looked at me, but the tears in his eyes broke my heart.

"Di-did I make a mistake?" I didn't want to stutter but I couldn't help it. My mate was running away from me. 

He just stayed silent "Please answer me, Micheal. Did I make any mistake that you far away from me the moment I kept you on your bed" his silence was killing me.

"No-no" he managed to tell me in a low mumble.

"Then why are you-"

"Can we reject each other?" a growl ripped my lips. He flinched at my growl, but I couldn't help because hearing the word reject from my mate broke me and angered me at the same time "No, I have waited for this for a long time, and I am not letting this go without a fight! You are my mate, Micheal. You are the person I begged to have to the moon goddess everyday, I am not letting you go" I said in a stern voice and an cold expression no matter how sad I was.

"Ple-ple-ease reject me" he mumbled and looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Give me a reason to reject you! You are perfect, Micheal. You are everything that I asked the moon goddess to give" my expression softened as a sob broke through his mouth.

"You-you don't want me" he whispered but I heard it. This made me scoff which he heard and looked at me with frowned eyebrows "If I didn't notice, then let me tell you that I have a big ass crush on you-" he gasped, the gasp was audible "-you were the person I begged moon goddess to have as my mate. Not anyone, but you! You are the one I always wanted Micheal and honestly, don't care what came with you"

"You don't even know me" he was still mumbling but his guard was falling a little.

"I know enough that you would be the best mate I can hope to have. I don't care what you think about yourself right now because I know I can change, but please accept me. All I want is you, and if you reject me then I will break apart, please Micheal, don't do that to me" I kneeled in front of on the bed which made him gasp -I don't know why, I mean I am his mate I can kneel in front of him anytime- and came forward to me. He tried to touch me but he was hesitant. "Please don't reject me, Micheal. I don't care what you come with! I will take everything that comes with you, even if it a child but I want you! I don't care if we can't have an hire, I just want you"

"Why would you want an old man so much?" he asked with pity and sadness in his hand. Why the pity? Did he pity me because he is what I want or that I am his mate?

"Because you have no idea what it is to have the person as a mate whom you have a crush since you were 14, Micheal. I had a crush on since I was 14. At first, I thought it was just the teenage hormones, but it's not! I couldn't even think of someone other than-"

"I marked Alexander! Someone else has marked me!" Micheal said in a voice louder than normal but less than a shout or scream. He removed his collar showed off his mark to me, and that mark tore my whole apart. 

I stumbled back, and since I was on my knees, I fell down "Yo-you are marked?!" neither I nor my wolf could process the fact that our mate is marked by someone else "I am sorry, Alexander. I am sorry, Xander" he apologized to me and my wolf.
