The Quidditch pitch was abuzz with activity as the Slytherin team gathered for their evening practice. Hercules and Draco were already on their brooms, soaring through the air, practicing complex maneuvers and passing the Quaffle between them with precision. The rest of the team was on the ground, stretching and discussing strategies for their next game.

The Slytherin captain, Flint, was issuing commands, his voice carrying across the pitch. "Alright team, let's get in some solid practice today. We need to be sharp for the next match against Ravenclaw. Hercules, Draco, keep working on those passes. Everyone else, into formation drills!"

Just as the team was getting into the groove of their practice, a group of Ravenclaw players marched onto the pitch, their captain leading the way. The tension was palpable as both teams faced off, brooms in hand.

"What are you lot doing here?" Flint barked, glaring at the Ravenclaws.

The new Ravenclaw captain, Cho Chang, stepped forward, a smug smile on ner face. "We reserved the pitch for tonight, Flint. Your team needs to clear off."

Flint's eyes narrowed. "That's not possible. We reserved the pitch. Your lot needs to leave."

Chang shook her head, her long black hair tied up in a ponytail, holding up a piece of parchment. "I have the reservation slip right here. We have it booked."

Flint snatched the parchment from the girl's hand, scrutinizing it closely. "This is a mistake. We booked it weeks ago."

Hercules and Draco landed beside Flint, their faces set in determination. "What's going on, Flint?" Hercules asked, glancing between the captains.

"Ravenclaws think they have the pitch tonight," Flint replied, his voice tight with frustration.

"We do have the pitch," Chang insisted, crossing her arms. "Your team can reschedule."

Draco stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "We're not going anywhere. You think just because your professor pulled some strings, you can kick us off? Tuff luck." A few of the other Slytherins chimed in, their voices rising in agreement. The Ravenclaws responded in kind, the argument escalating.

"This is ridiculous," Hercules muttered, stepping closer to Chang. "We both need the practice, but we were here first. We also got permission first."

Cho rolled her brown eyes. "Typical Slytherin arrogance. Always thinking you can take whatever you want."

Hercules' jaw clenched, but before he could respond, Flint held up his hand. "Enough. We can settle this with Professor Snape and Madam Hooch. Until then, we're not leaving."

The girl's eyes gleamed with defiance. "Fine, but you better watch out come next game. We'll make sure you regret this."

With that, the Ravenclaw team turned and stalked off the pitch, leaving the Slytherins to resume their practice. Flint watched them go, shaking his head. "Alright, back to work. We need to be ready for whatever they throw at us. She's may be a new captain, but do not be fooled. She'll go at you with all she's got, eager to prove herself."

Draco and Hercules exchanged a look, both feeling the weight of the coming match. They mounted their brooms and took to the sky again, determined to make the most of their practice time. As they soared through the air, they couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation. The rivalry with Ravenclaw had just been intensified, and they knew the next game would be a battle like no other.

In the dimly lit Slytherin common room, the group of friends were lounging comfortably on the emerald-green couches. Blaise was deep in conversation with Daphne about whatever, mostly discussing their recent Astronomy class.
