We open in Ben's house. Gwen, bored, looked through his room and ended up finding a sock, an autographed baseball and fan mail while Ben sat on his bed.

Gwen: So? Why'd you call us here?

Ben: Let's wait for Kevin to get here. I can't explain it twice. Well, I could, but you know.

Gwen found something and smiled. Two Sumo Slammers were in a ring.

Gwen: Awh, Ben, I didn't know you kept dollhouses.

Ben: Hey now, not dollhouses. It's a Sumo Slammer ring with Action Figures.

Gwen: This, this is a doll.

Gwen handed it over to him, when suddenly, his eyes glowed green and he jerked, dropping it and making it break.

Gwen: Ben, you good?

Ben: Getting...a message...forced to me. Grr...

He groaned, and a hologram opened up. Helen fizzling into view.

Helen: Hello? Hello. Ben, have you found Gwen?

Gwen: Oh, it's Helen. Helen?

Ben: I don't think she can hear us. This isn't stable enough...

Kevin walked in, seeing the hologram flicker and having to resist the temptation of sighing.

Kevin: Holograms, cool. Why can't you guys be playing video games. Or cards, or discussing school drama.

Helen: What? What did you say?

Kevin (Nonchalantly): Nothing...

Helen: If you're getting this, it's a matter of life and death. Something bad, way bad, has come. Our mission, it's got way more complicated and...and I don't know if we can win. We

The message turned off, and Ben's eyes stopped glowing as he blinked and fell to his knee while Kevin held him.

Kevin: You good? I wouldn't be the most stable to if I was used for a video call.

Ben: I'll be fine, Kevin. What was that?

Kevin: Something bad. It's the Null Void, it's a hellzone, you can't say we didn't warn them.

Gwen: We have to go get them out.

Kevin: You're not going in there, I've been. It's not very fun.

Gwen: Oh, yeah, you did. So did I. I got hunted down by you, Vilgax and Charmcaster, thanks a lot. Trust me, Kevin, if I can take you guys on, I've got this...

She spoke loud, but there was a slight nervousness to her voice.

Kevin: Well, Ben's basically the signal of hope for people, and I'm way less powerful now....

He sighed.

Kevin: Fine. But, you gotta be careful. The Null Voi-.

Gwen: I know. I know, it's horrid.

Kevin: Gwen, I'm serious.

Gwen could see Kevin was serious, he had been in there for years, he would know the horrors of it the worst.

Gwen: Right, sorry.

Later, they were in Kevin's Garage, Kevin setting up the entire thing.

Gwen: Huh, last time I didn't need all this...

A Harness was strapped around her with a cable connecting her to the Null Void Projector they were using.

Kevin: Last time, you were in a Motor Home with state of the art tech carefully made. Which, yeah Ben, I sold, don't say it.
