Episode 6 - Undercover

We begin our episode in the dead of night, Ben, Gwen and Kevin in a garage, not Kevin's usual garage, however it was one of the many he owned.

Ben: remind me when and how you dragged this all from los soledad?

Kevin: I don't have to tell you everything I do.

Gwen: so, remind me, how'd you turn a failed time machine into a teleporter pod?

Kevin: that was where they failed. They tried to turn a teleporter pod into a time machine.

Gwen: and you're sure you've got this figured out?

We cut over to Kevin placing a banana down in the machine, the crystal slightly stabbing into the banana. Kevin just walked back over to the controls, and he began tapping away, typing on a keyboard, typing away and twisting different dials.

Kevin: more or less.

Ben: and what happens if a fly lands on that thing and turns into some banana-fly monster?

Kevin: then we ship it off to lepidoptera, problem solved.

The machine then began powering up. Sparking to life, literally. The banana began floating in the middle of the crystal ring, energy flowing through the banana and the banana then exploded, sending burning banana juice across the room. Ben just glanced over at Kevin, getting ready for it and I told you so, however the machine began overloading, unable to handle the modifications Kevin had given it. Gwen activated the omnitrix and slammed down on it, changing into humongasuar. She managed to rip the device out of the ground, Kevin looking in shock and horror as ben threw a mana disk at the door, causing it to fling open, Gwen ran outside with the pod, it's energy building and swelling, audible through a high pitched wheezing coming from the pod and the sparks it was emitting, when outside Gwen couldn't see anywhere safe to put the device down, so she lay it on the ground, grew to her full 60 feet and she lay down onto of it, most of the explosion being snuffed out by humongasuar's massive, durable body. However, parts of the pod were destroyed by Gwen laying down on it at full size, she stood back up, returned to being 12 feet tall and she slammed on the omnitrix, returning to human.

Gwen: sorry for destroying it, Kevin.

Kevin reached down, a small spark coming out of the pod as he attempted to touch it. Kevin yanked his arm back, ben walking over.

Ben: it's fine, Kevin could probably rebuild it in an afternoon.

Kevin: nah, it's totally busted, and I wouldn't even know what parts I'd need to fix it.

Ben: wow, some alien tech Kevin doesn't know the first thing about.

Kevin: better call-in cooper.

The pair looked at him shocked.

Kevin: what, kids good with this stuff.

Gwen: it's that...

Kevin: After seeing what he could do in that herodium cave, I had to stay in contact with him. Besides I thought I could give him a few pointers in other ways. Seems he didn't use them.

He looked over at Gwen with a knowing smirk.

Gwen: what's that supposed to mean?

Ben: come on Gwen, he didn't hide it that well.

Gwen: yeah, I know but...

Kevin cut her off and talked over her.

Kevin: anyways, we should go and get the kid.
