Chloe's pov

I opened up the front door when there was a knock on it. I expected it to be Sadie since we had our fourth date tonight but instead I saw Madison.

"Oh. Hi, Mads." I smiled.

"Hey. I wanted to ask you something." She said.

"What's up?" I wondered.

"Well, over the two weeks I've known you, I think I've sorta..." Madison trailed off and I gave her a look telling her to go. "I think I might like you?"

"Oh. Well... Well, Mads, I'm- I'm kind of seeing someone." I told her. "I'm really sorry."

"Oh. No, yeah, that's okay. It was just a small crush so I could get over it easily." Madison responded with a small chuckle. "Who are you seeing?"

"I don't think I should say. We agreed to keep it a secret." I said.

"Is it Sadie?" Madison asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "How'd you know?"

Madison chuckled. "When you first told me about her, you had a big smile on your face and there was a sparkle in your eyes every time you said her name. I figured you had some sort of feelings for her. She's your girlfriend?"

"No. I mean, not yet. We have our fourth date tonight so I'm hoping she'll ask me to be her girlfriend soon." I responded.

"Well, she's a lucky girl." Madison replied.

"You promise not to tell anyone?" I asked.

"I promise."

I glanced behind Madison when Sadie's car pulled into the driveway. "You want to meet her?"

"Sure."

I walked down to Sadie's car with Madison following behind me. Sadie got out of the car and she smiled at me before glancing at Madison.

"Hey, pretty girl." Sadie said to me.

"Hi." I pecked her lips. "This is my friend, Madison. Madison, this is Sadie."

"Nice to meet you." Sadie held out her hand.

Madison shook it. "I heard a lot about you."

After talking with Madison for a bit, Sadie and I got into her car. I buckled my seat belt and she started the car, driving to our date place.

"She's nice." Sadie said, glancing over at me. "She know we're seeing each other?"

"Yeah, but, it's okay. She promised not to tell anyone." I assured her.

"What were you two talking about before I showed up?" Sadie asked.

"Oh. Uh... She came over to see if she left her airpods in my bedroom." I lied.

I couldn't tell her Madison admitted she had feelings for me. I've known Sadie long enough to know that she gets super jealous.

"So where are we going on our date?" I asked.

"Well, since we can't really go on dates in public, I found a private beach near by where we can watch the sunset. It's super romantic." Sadie told me as she placed her hand on my thigh.

I placed my hand on top of hers. "It sounds super romantic."

"Hey, guess what I got for dinner." Sadie told me with a smile.

"Um..." I thought for a few second. "McDonalds?"

Sadie laughed. "McDonalds? Come on, you know I'm more romantic than that."
