Chloe's pov

I set down my book as Sadie walked into the bedroom dropping her bag on the ground with a dramatic sigh. I let out a small laugh as I watched her flop down on the bed.

I glanced over at the clock seeing that it was almost midnight. Sadie had been out all day on set for a tv show that she was guest starring in.

She's been taking small roles ever since I got pregnant because she wanted to take care of me and she said that once the baby is born she'll take a break from acting for a couple months.

"Come here." I told her as I opened my arms and she crawled into them, resting her head on my shoulder. "You okay, baby?"

"I had such a long day." Sadie replied as she closed her eyes. "But everything is much better now that I'm home with my soon to be wife and my soon to be newborn son."

Sadie placed her hand on my stomach before she lifted up my shirt and placed a kiss on my belly. I placed my hand on her head massaging her scalp as she rested her head on my belly.

"You're really tired, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah." Sadie said.

"You can sleep." I told her.

"I want to spend some alone time with you for a little bit. Remember we have to watch my brothers kid tomorrow." Sadie reminded me. "Ugh, I'm dreading it."

I chuckled. "Well If you didn't want to watch your nephew then why did you tell Spencer you would?"

"I don't know, babe." She sighed.

"Well, I think it'll be fun. Like practicing for the future." I smiled.

"Hm. I guess." Sadie said.

It was silent for a couple minutes before I felt a kick in my stomach causing me to let out a small groan. Sadie quickly lifted up her head to look at me.

"Did you feel that?" I asked.

"Yeah." Sadie smiled as she placed her hand back on my stomach, feeling around for another kick. When she felt one she looked back at me with an even bigger smile. "Aw, Chloe. That's our baby."

I smiled at her. "That's our baby."

Sadie looked back down at my belly, running her thumb over it. After a few seconds of silence, Sadie started to sing softly. I felt my heart flutter as I listened and watched.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away." Sadie finished before she placed another kiss on my belly. "Goodnight, Son. I can't wait to meet you."

Sadie looked up at me and I couldn't help but smile at her. She leaned over me and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. She smiled as she looked into my eyes.

"Goodnight, wife." Sadie said.

"Goodnight, wife." I replied with a small blush.

Sadie laid down next to me and I snuggled into her side. She wrapped her arms around my waist and I buried my head in her chest. I heard Sadie shut off the lamp before she placed a kiss on the top of my head.

The next day I was making lunch in the kitchen while Sadie played cars with her 2 year old nephew, Matthew. I heard Matt let out a scream causing me to look up from the food.

Sadie was already looking at me with wide eyes as Matthew pretended to crash his cars into each other. I let out a small chuckle as he placed a car on her head. The car rolled off her head and she picked it up.

"Should we race them?" Sadie suggested.

"Yeah!" Matt exclaimed.

They both placed their cars down on the ground and Sadie made sure they were parallel with each other. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her and Matt play. It felt like I was taking a glimpse into the future.

"Okay, ready?" Sadie asked.

"Mhm." Matthew hummed.

"3... 2... 1..."

They both pushed their cars, Sadie's having a little more force obviously. Sadie's car hit the wall first and Matthew's car slowed down a little, stopping way before the wall.

"I won." Sadie told him.

"No, mine did." Matt said as he looked at Sadie. "Because- Because yours hit the wall and mine didn't. Also my car looks cooler."

"Oh. Okay." Sadie said before she looked at me.

I let out a small chuckle before looking down and continuing to make lunch. I put the apple slices on the two plates before picking them up and placing them on the table for Sadie and Matt to eat.

"Lunch is ready." I called out.

Sadie stood up from the ground, looking down at Matt. "You want uppies?"

"Yeah." Matt lifted up his arms.

Sadie picked him off the ground and carried him over to the table, making airplane noises as she did so. I smiled at them as I watched Sadie place him in the chair.

Sadie came over to me, wrapping her arm around my waist and kissing my cheek. I placed my hand on her chest as I leaned into her.

"You're going to be an amazing mom." I said as I looked up at her.

"You will be too, my love." Sadie replied before she kissed me on the lips.

I blushed a little. "Eat your lunch. I worked hard on it."

Sadie unwrapped her arm from around my waist and sat down at the table in front of her plate. She picked up her sandwich and started to eat it as I stood next to her, placing my arm on her shoulders.

"Shit." Sadie cursed as she dropped an apple slice on the ground and I quickly looked down at her, smacking the back of her head. "Ow!"

"Language." I warned her as I glanced at Matthew, praying he didn't hear her.

"Sorry." Sadie apologized.

I playfully rolled my eyes at her before I rubbed her back and then went back into the kitchen to do the dishes.
