Chloe's pov
Sadie and I sat on the foot of my bed with my phone on a tripod and an Instagram live pulled up. The break up was hard at first for the both of us but it was getting better as days pass. We're still very good friends. We text a lot and hang out a lot.
We've been broken up for a week now and because Sadie and I still hang out, no one on the internet has suspected we're no longer together. We don't owe our fans an explanation on our break up but we still felt the need to give them one.
I know it'll be a shock to them but they'll get over it.
I started the live and we waited a few minutes for people to join. The fans immediately noticed something was up. Sadie and I didn't look as happy as we usually do and we weren't sitting as close to each other as we usually do during a live.
"Um... do you want to start?" I asked her.
"Sure." Sadie replied. "Hey, guys. This live is gonna be a little different than what Chloe and I usually do. I'm so sad to tell you guys that Chloe and I have, um, broken up."
I looked at the comments, reading some of them.
'WHAT?'
'Say sike rn'
'Nooooo'
"It's sad, but, we had to do it. It was what was best for the both of us." I added.
"The question probably running through all your minds is, 'why'. And that's because we just got too busy for each other. We're both filming stuff all the time in different countries." Sadie explained. "We tried so fucking hard to see each other, call each other, and text each other all the time that it just got to the point where one of us was always chasing the other one down and it felt like we were just holding each other back."
"There is no bad blood between us. Obviously, because we're sitting next to each other in the same room." I said with a small chuckle. "But, there is nothing negative going on. I always felt like we had the healthiest relationship. We had no problems, we bickered sometimes like normal couples do, we never had jealousy problems. Everything was so great."
Sadie nodded. "Breaking up is the hardest part in a relationship and neither of us wanted to do it but we had to. If you love something, let it go, you know? We're not gonna force something that obviously isn't working out. And I believe that if it's truly meant to be, we'll find our way back to each other."
"We're always gonna be friends though. That's the point of this live." I said. "I know other couples, when they break up, they always say, 'we're still gonna be friends'."
"And then you never see them interact with each other ever again." Sadie added on causing me to softly laugh. "We mean it when we say we're still gonna be best friends. We've already been broken up for a week and nobody even suspected anything because we hang out all the time."
I looked at Sadie. "I don't think any of our friends know we're broken up."
"Really?" Sadie asked.
"Madison is the only one that knows. I haven't told Liv, or Jenna, or anybody." I told her.
"I haven't told anyone either." Sadie smiled.
"Welp. They know now." I chuckled before my phone dinged. "I bet you that's one of them, right now."
"So... long story short, we're broken up and nothing's gonna change. I'm still gonna love Chloe the same as I loved her when I first met her." Sadie continued.
"Same goes for me." I said. "And we're not trying to make you guys sad."
"We don't want you to be sad." Sadie shook her head. "We also didn't want to tell anybody because we knew that the second the news was released to the public, it was officially real. But we did it anyways because we felt bad lying to you guys."
"Please accept our decision and don't send hate to either one of us. Like we said, there is no bad blood and if it's really meant to be the universe will bring us back together." I summarized and Sadie nodded in agreement.
"We love you guys. Have a great rest of your day." Sadie said.
I waved to the camera before Sadie ended the live. She took my phone off the tripod and handed it back to me.
"That was easier than expected." I told her.
Sadie nodded. "Agreed."
I looked into her eyes before wrapping my arms around her neck and hugging her. She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me closer, hugging me back. I rested my head against her shoulder and closed my eyes as I relaxed in arms.
I really missed the feeling of being in her arms.
Madison's pov
I walked over to Chloe's bedroom. I knew Sadie and Chloe were announcing their break up and I wanted to see how it was going.
The door was wide open so I took a peek inside. I paused when I saw the two of them hugging really tightly. I stood in the doorway for around a minute, waiting to see if they would notice me and pull away but they didn't.
I looked at them for another second before walking away back to my room.
