"HEY, YOU GUYS. I'VE CONTACTED THE OLD MAN." JIN BEGAN TO INFORM. "YOU'LL BE STAYING HERE TONIGHT." Kiara did a double take at that revelation. "If you do, the people from headquarters won't come to your pursuit." She guessed it made sense, from the meeting it judged that Osamu was in the clear but most likely she and Yuma weren't. That pissed her off to no end. And now at the moment they had to hide for protection for the time being leaving the rest of her stuf-

"Bow!" Her words had caused Osamu and everyone else to look at her dumbfounded, having not heard her yell or even look panicked before.

Yuma looked at her, noting the names. "You mean like a part of that weapon?" He put his hand under his chin. Kiara shook her head and made a gesture waving him off.

"No my pet ferret, she's back in my apartment. I'm supposed to be feeding her dinner about now." She sighed internally, and she had meant to be back before this whole fiasco.

"Huh....that's an interesting pet to have. A ferett." Jin commented and Yuma nodded though he didn't seem to get it. But they both did note the worried look Kiara had on her face, obviously concerned.

Jin tried to reassure her. "Don't worry, I predicted this would most likely happen." And Kiara didn't know if she should be concerned or relieved. She was still thinking about the latter. "Your apartment isn't that far from here. Why don't I go and get her for you?" Kiara seemed hesitant. "Come on...I can't be that bad."

"It's not that." She actually admitted and sighed. "Bow doesn't like men, afraid of them even. If you go, she'll try to scratch you into bits."

"Heh, I guess everyone got their preferences." He chuckled but Kiara bit her thumb, still thinking.

I remember I fed her before leaving today and I'm sure that was enough, but my concern is the water. That's what I'm worried about, what if shes doesn't have enough to last for tomorrow. She began to ramble in her head. Oh! And her cage! I changed her bedding last week but this week is almost ending an-ugh I'm such a terrible mother.

"Don't worry Ishioka-san!" Shiori gave her a determined look. "Let me go for the time being! Your cats will be fed and hydrated!"

"I'm short and stealthy and with a perfect disguise. I can sneak in and steal the ferett from your house." Kiara deadpanned but was a bit honored that Yuma was offering.

"Did you miss the part about scratching you into bits?"

"I'm not a man though, I'm a boy. Big difference." Kiara pinched her nose.

"Still wouldn't be a good idea, Borders eyes are everywhere." Yuma shrugged at that.

"Do you have someone who you can call to check on them maybe?" Osamu then asked and Chika nodded from beside him.

"Hmmm." Kiara thought for a moment. Koku transformed from her earring into a microphone whispering in her ear.

"Mistress Kiara, what about Madam Yumeko down the hall? She seems to be fond of her." Kiara had remembered the other resident of the apartment who was always friendly to her and even gave her number to call or text in case something happened. She would just have to ask the landlord for an extra key.

"I got someone." She said, and that had brought everyone a sense of relief.

"Good, good." Yotaro mumbled to himself, "The ferret thing is saved."

"Kiara-chan." Jin grabbed her attention and he jutted his thumb down the hall. "When you're done, meet us in one of the corridors. Our boss wants to talk to you both." He gestured between her and Yuma. "Shiori, can you guide you once you're done."
