"Do you like the new uniform?" the host asked Nam Seojun.

Nam Seojun stared dazedly at the host asking him, before he responded, "Why ...uh, well it's..." Nam Seojun couldn't even form a proper sentence.

"What do you like about it?" the host asked, which made Seojun think about it for a moment.

"Since it's a design that uses uniforms, and uh, well... you can create various concepts with it," Seojun explained, sharing his thoughts.

"I LIKE THAT I CAN MATCH VARIOUS ACCESSORIES TOO!" a participant suddenly burst out, moving in front of the camera.

"Ah, I like that it goes well with my badge!" he added with a bright smile, which made Seojun sigh.

"It's pretty!!! Especially the color of this jacket!" another participant butted in, covering Seojun from the camera.

"I'm wearing a ribbon tie, what do you think??" another participant butted in, pushing Seojun out of the camera's sight.

"Could you look at my outfit too?" another participant butted in, drawing attention away from Seojun once again.

Seojun sighed and walked away, but accidentally fell into a broken platform. "Ack??!!" he exclaimed, stumbling as he tried to catch his balance.

What... What just happened???

Seojun tried to get out but struggled. Just then, he saw someone reaching out a hand to help him. "Can I help you?" the person asked.

Seojun nodded frantically, his breathing ragged. As the person carefully lifted him out of the broken platform, Seojun managed to say, "Thank you... And may I know who you are?"

If I haven't gotten out of that, I wouldn't be able to perform and debut. I should thank my saviour for a meal, I need to know his name first.

The person hummed and looked at Seojun. "Call me Ryu Gunwoo." Seojun halted, stunned by the name.

Seojun, still frozen in place, looked at Gunwoo before walking toward him to give him a hug and thank him for saving him. However, Gunwoo regarded Seojun with a colder gaze, his expression distant and reserved.

"You never once called me or updated me on where you were. You broke our promise," Ryu Gunwoo said sharply. Seojun halted, biting his bottom lip, the weight of Gunwoo's words sinking in.

"I... I didn't mean to. I was actually going to call you and tell you what I've been up to!" Seojun said truthfully, his voice filled with regret.

"You broke the promise, Seojun," Ryu Gunwoo said with a cold gaze, staring down at him.

Seojun looked down, the weight of Gunwoo's words hitting hard. "I know," he replied quietly. "I'm really sorry. Things got complicated, and I should have reached out."

Gunwoo's expression softened slightly, but he remained stern. "It's not just about calling. It's about trust and responsibility. You can't just disappear without a word."

Seojun nodded, eyes still cast downward. "I understand. I promise to make it right. Please give me a chance to explain."

Gunwoo hummed as his eyes turned pitch black. Suddenly, the platform underneath Seojun vanished, causing him to fall into the pitch-black void below. "AHHH!!!" Seojun screamed, his voice echoing into the darkness.

.

Seojun groaned as he woke up, feeling pain in his back. "AHHh...?" he murmured, disoriented and trying to understand where he was.

Seojun groaned as his back hurt and sat up, rubbing his eyes. As his vision cleared, he realized he was back in his apartment. The familiar surroundings were a stark contrast to the dark void he had fallen into. He looked around, still disoriented, and wondered if it had all been a dream or if something more unsettling was at play.
