I had just stepped out of the shower, my hair still damp as I wrapped a towel around it. With a deep sigh, I stared at my reflection in the mirror, droplets of water sliding down my skin, feeling the lingering warmth from the steam surrounding me.

I stretched out on my bed, my hair still damp, as the towel slipped from my head, leaving cool strands against the pillow.

⌜ Host, you have to dry your hair. (๑•́ -•̀) ⌟

I gently hummed to myself, dismissing the system's words as I gradually allowed my eyes to close.

⌜ Earlier. . . ⌟

As I was packing my things with Moondae nearby, I turned to him with a sincere smile. "Congratulations on winning the first team battle, Moondae," I said warmly.

Moondae was also packing his things when he glanced at me. "You did well... I mean it, actually," he managed to say, his tone a little awkward but genuine.

"I can clearly see that you did your best in... helping your teammates improve," Moondae said, his words sincere despite the expressionless look on his face. He mustered up the compliment, showing his appreciation in his own way.

"Well, I’m quite happy that we made it past the three-digit number," I said with a small smile, feeling a sense of quiet accomplishment.

⌜ Host, you and your team already did a good job! ( ‘• ω • ') ⌟

How many times have you told me that?

⌜ System 002 had said it for more than 20 times. ⌟

"Uhm... If it’s not too much of a hassle, can I... can I please have your contact number?" I asked, my voice faltering as I looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed for stumbling over my words.

"I want to stay in contact with you..." I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper as the nervousness lingered.

"You don’t have to force yourself to give it to me, I know we just..." I stammered, my words trailing off as I struggled to finish the sentence.

"Sure," Moondae responded briefly, his eyes never leaving me even as I stumbled over my words. He kept his gaze steady, giving no sign of discomfort or hesitation.

That left me blinking in disbelief as he simply took my phone and began typing in his contact information.

Lee Sejin B walked back after talking with Moondae earlier. "Yo, Moondae, you leaving now?" he inquired, stopping short when he caught sight of Seojun.

I looked up and saw Lee Sejin B flashing his grin, his usual energy radiating as he approached us. "Hey, Moondae! You got your contact info sorted?" he asked, turning to me with a curious look. "Mind if I grab yours too?"
