Here's a Question. Is 'Burning like the Sun' a good song?

I don't really know much, but Gunwoo mentioned it's a good song and even made me listen to it.

.

"Hm? What song is this?" I asked Gunwoo, sitting down beside him as he played the video he recorded for his client.

"Burning like the Sun," Gunwoo replied, his focus still on the video, adjusting the volume to try and minimize the murmurs of the group.

I hummed in agreement, the lyrics were catchy, but the persistent murmurs were making it harder to focus on the song.

"When did you take it?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. But Gunwoo didn't respond. I glanced at him, noting his distant expression, and furrowed my brow in confusion. He appeared completely lost in thought.

I furrowed my brows, watching Gunwoo's distant gaze on Seojun. It was as if he was seeing something only he could understand, lost in his own thoughts.

"Gunwoo?" I called his name, but he just blinked. "What did you say?" Gunwoo asked, looking confused.

"You're really distracted," I muttered, raising an eyebrow. "What's on your mind?"

Gunwoo hesitated for a moment before responding, "Just... thinking about something." His eyes shifted back to Seojun briefly before lowering his gaze. "It's nothing."

I nodded, shrugging it off for now, and took a sip from the can of Fanta he handed me.

.

"This song isn't going to be easy," Moondae remarked, his tone calm but decisive. "We should sort out the part assignments right away and get started on practice."

.

"Gunwoo, if you could choose a song to sing, what would it be?" Seojun asked with a bright smile, leaning in with curiosity.

"I'd definitely reject this one," Gunwoo replied bluntly, not even sparing a second to sugarcoat his response.

"It's a 2000s rock band song with lyrics that portray popular youth celebrations," Gunwoo explained, his tone flat but precise.

"It doesn't have a distinct concept like a fairy tale or vampires, and it's hard to blend it with anything else," he added, his gaze focused. "Besides, there are way too many high notes, and that's the biggest issue."

"Yeah," he continued after a pause, "in a competition where the song has to be divided among several people, those high notes just become a headache."

"You sure do know your stuff," Seojun said with a smirk, leaning back casually as he gave Gunwoo an appraising look.

Gunwoo glanced at him briefly, his expression unreadable. "I just observe."

.

I'll have to agree with Gunwoo on this one. It's definitely hard.

"My throat is burning..." I muttered, voice hoarse as I slumped back after attempting the high note.

I glanced up, noticing Sejin A, who had also given the high note a shot. He coughed lightly, looking a bit strained. "Yeah, ...I can't sing this."

"Hm, the song really is high. You can sit back down, Sejin," Ryu Cheongwoo said with a reassuring smile, gesturing for Sejin A to take a break.

"So, there's no one except Moondae who can sing until the chorus?" Ryu Cheongwoo observed thoughtfully. "Seojun looked like he could manage it, but his vocals seemed strained after reaching the last line of the chorus," he added, his tone tinged with concern.
