After that conversation, Minho hadn't even tried to keep an eye out for Jisung.
Only an hour later, when his father walked over to him did Minho even remember Jisung was present.
"Where is Prince Jisung?" His father had asked him.
Minho didn't know nor did he care. But the look on his father's face was one of worry.
Minho couldn't lie he did feel a sense of relief wash over him the last hour since Jisung had spoken to him. "Isn't he not in the hall like the rest of us?" he replied shortly.
He really wasn't in the mood to talk about Jisung anymore. One more mention of that prince's name and he might just lose it.
His father sighed "He isn't here, I suggest you go search for him" he spoke. Minho choked on the small chocolate bite he was eating.
"Me!? Father, we have a castle full of guards at the ready!" he exclaimed. The king sighed "Yes, if he is in danger. Instinct tells me he's just roaming the castle, go find him"
Minho scoffed "Again. Why me?" he was furious. Since when was it his job to play carer of Prince Han?
"Are you the front of this truce or not Minho?" He asked sternly. Minho took a breath before glaring at his father, shoving the other half of the chocolate bite into his mouth and storming out of the hall.
The corridors of the castle were quiet, compared to the loud chatter the banquet hall had.
No chatter. No muisc. Silence.
Silence was far fetched to say as the distant chatter and music could still be heard just not as obnoxiously loud.
Minho didn't even bother calling for Jisung as he searched, he deemed that you would hear Jisung before you see him and if you didn't hear him you'd definitely sense his damn annoying presence.
Half of him hoped that he didn't find Jisung at all.
But then the other part of him figured he should find him for the sake of his father's order - and the other reason being that he did not need to get in trouble with his father.
And with that thought in mind, he began properly looking for Jisung.
He started with his room which was odd to see lived in for a brief moment, the Prince's pajamas laid out ready to be worn when he returned to the room.
Clearly he wasn't there.
Minho went through the three different floors searching but there was nothing. He sighed deeply as he closed the last door. Then the softest flicker of light from outside in the gardens caught his attention.
He walked over to the opposite side of the corridor, to the window and looked down at where the light was.
Jisung? Minho thought to himself. He took no more time to debate as he strolled outside toward the gardens and down to the back of them.
The closer he got to the end of the gardens where an indent in the bushes had been made with a bench hidden inside, the more clear this orange light had gotten.
Had Jisung lit something up? Was he about to set fire to the gardens?
Minho didn't want to see that happen being so close now so he spoke up "Prince Jisung? Is that you?"
The orange light went out "What?"
Minho sighed and rolled his eyes, the cold and annoyed tone clearly belonging to Jisung.
He walked over and saw the boy sitting on the bench. "What are you doing out here?" he asked folding his arms over his chest.
Jisung ignored his presence for a moment longer before replying.
