The Crystal Isle was a mysterious and magical place, situated off the coast of the Han Kingdom. The air around it seemed to crackle with energy from the magic that Jisung's great grandmother had put on the isle. The landscape was dotted with crystals formed out of magic and they glowed with an otherworldly light.

"So...this is it?"

Jisung glanced over at Minho who was getting out of the boat onto the pale sandy shore. Jisung nodded "Yeah, welcome to the Crystal Isle" He smiled. Minho felt his heart beat a little faster out of nerves. He knew that they were doing some kind of hike or trip in order to survive but he wasn't entirely sure and part of him was scared.

Mostly because the aura around the island seemed to be burning with rage and anger. "And your great grandmother...used to stay here?" He asked as they walked to the poorly made pathway into the forest. Jisung nodded a little "Yeah, she would come here when she wanted to I guess" he shrugged a little "I'm never really told about her"

Minho nodded at that but was slightly confused "Never told about her? But you inherited her magic" He couldn't help but frown at that "I mean...yeah, they never tell me about her or even why she burned your kingdom in the first place"

They fell into an awkward silence following that.

That was their new relationship now. Not one of hatred but of awkwardness.

They walked further into the forest of the island toward the start of the hike to the top of the mountains. The air was filled with an uncomfortable silence. Both princes were highly aware of each other's presence but neither of them tried to make conversation. They snuck glances at one another, both secretly thinking about the tense atmosphere they found themselves in.

Minho glanced at a few wild flowers and cleared his throat "Cool flowers huh?" He spoke up after twenty minutes or so of silence. Jisung glanced at them "Those flowers have poison on them"

Minho's eyes widened "Right..." He looked ahead up at the pathway. They quickly lapsed back into an silence. The only sound was the crunching of leaves on the ground and the occasional chirp of birds somewhere in the trees. Minho was itching to make conversation but Jisung didn't look interested.

After another few minutes of silence Minho spoke up again "So...ever been hiking before?" He asked scratching his arm. Jisung shook his head "No" He mumbled. Once again silence.

Minho nodded slowly, struggling to think of something else to say. They coninued walking for a few more minutes before the silence grew unbearable once again. Minho racked his brain for something to say "So uh...where are we staying for the night?" He asked.

Jisung pointed to the top of the mountain "Up there" he replied "If we make it up there before night fall" He shrugged. Minho furrowed his brows "What happens if we don't?" He asked suddenly feeling nervous.

"Then we stay outside" Jisung looked at him. Minho looked away and once again silence.

They continued up the walkway which was starting to get steeper now as they got to the beginning of the mountain. The awkward tension between them growing with every passing second. Minho didn't know why he was so eager to find something to talk about but maybe it was because he thought they would talk, not stay in silence.

"This is getting kind of awkward, isn't it?" He spoke up, his voice slightly strained from not speaking for a while. Jisung sighed in some form of relief knowing he wasn't the only one awkward. "Yeah...It is" He bit the inside of his cheek. "I don't know what to say"

What was there to say? This was the first time the two prince's had seen each other since they made up and both expected it to go way differently than just pure awkwardness.

Minho hummed and looked at the sky "The weather looks nice" He scratched the back of his neck. Jisung couldn't help but laugh "The weather?" He repeated, raising a brow. "Really? Is that the best you could come up with?"

"I don't know! I don't see you making up anything good to talk about either" He scoffed folding his arms. Jisung hummed slightly amused "Touché" he took a breath after that and sighed. "I guess it's alright"

"It's not going to rain right? This place looks muddy" Minho mumbled. Jisung shrugged "I dunno, I don't remember seeing anything about rain so" He gave a small smile "Should be fine"

After another hour, they began to notice the sight of burned trees, as if someone had thrown a fireball into the forest at that one specific place out of anger. Jisung frowned as along with the small circle of burned trees, resting in the centre was rubble from something that once stood. Standing amidst the ruins were the remnants of stone structures.

"What...on Earth is this?" Minho mumbled as he looked around the ruins. The smell of smoke was still present and danced among Minho's senses. He glanced at Jisung who stood there with an almost fearful look.

"Hey, are you okay?" Minho asked as he looked closely at Jisung's face. Jisung took a breath and gulped. He bent down to touch the stone ruins, still burning hot even after centuries. But it was caused by magic now normal fire.

"My great grandmother must have done this" Jisung mumbled with a tone of sombre. Minho's eyes widened now seeing what damage Jisung's great grandmother could do. Did that mean Jisung could do the same?

Minho didn't want to think about it.

"Do you know what the ruins might have been?" Minho asked as he picked up some burning stones, dropping them instantly. Jisung looked over as he saw Minho jump and yelp from the burn.

"Minho!" Jisung stood up again and took his hand. Minho's face was scrunched up in pain. "What the fuck" He mumbled. "It feels exactly like the same burn your hand gave me" He added.

"I burned your hand?" Jisung asked shocked. Minho nodded "It's fine, It healed but fuck this hurts" he groaned. Jisung looked at Minho's hand and took a breath.

"Can I heal it?" He looked him in the eyes and there was a long pause that followed simply because Minho saw those small golden dots that shined in Jisung's eyes every now and again.

"Y-Yeah...Okay" He agreed as if he was hypnotised by those little flexes of gold in Jisung's eyes. Jisung then covered his hand over Minho's palm and focused in on his magic.

Minho watched in awe as his hand began to glow a soft, golden hue, the magic flowing through Jisung's hand into Minho's burned one. Minho could feel a light tingling sensation against his palm and a coolness as if Jisung's magic was thoroughly making sure the wound was healed and undamaged.

Jisung took his hand away, the speckles of golden magic sinking into Minho's palm before the burns disappeared - they seized to exist. "How does it feel?" Jisung asked almost sounded self conscious. Minho flexed his hand, rotating his wrist and testing the movements of his fingers.

"It feels...fine," He said, a note of wonder in his voice. "Like it was never injured at all" He looked at Jisung again who still look slightly panicked. "you okay?" He asked. Jisung hummed "Just never used my magic on anyone before so I'm scared I did something wrong" he sighed a little sheepishly.

Minho shook his head "It feels more than fine. As if the burns were never there" he reassured. "Thank you" he smiled.

Jisung nodded "You're welcome"
