The once thriving capital city of the Lee Kingdom stood ablaze, flames licking at the night sky in a burning fury of orange and smoke like a hungry beast wanting to devour everything in it's traces. Screams and cries echoed through the streets as people fled in terror, their homes and belongings consumed by the relentless fire.

Buildings crumbled and collapsed, sending plumes of smoke and embers into the air further fuelling the chaos and destruction. The once proud Kingdom was now a mere shadow of itself, leaving behind only ruins and despair.

"Yeseul!" A shout mixed with a cry from behind her caught her attention as she threw another ball of golden magic into the sky letting fire fall down onto the kingdom, giving nothing a chance to escape or free itself.

"Please, you have to stop!" A pair of arms wrapped around her, trying to pull her back away from the fire. She remained unmoving, detached. Her gaze cold and distant as she stared at the burning kingdom.

The arms around her held a stronger grip "Please...Please stop...I'm sorry I-"

"If you were sorry, you wouldn't have betrayed me like that" Her hands landed onto his, burning the flesh. The scream from the man holding her was enough to make her continue. Shoving him off, Yeseul turned around watching the man she once loved on the ground.

With no other words, she lit him ablaze.

Jisung and Minho stood on the podium with King and Queen Han, listening to the King's speech about the truce between the kingdoms.

But Minho's mind was far away from even listening. He stood there, taking short glances toward Jisung. He could see how the boy's face was slightly red from crying earlier on and how detached he still looked from the world around him. He kept his gaze on him for a while, simply going over everything Jisung had admitted to him in his bedroom.

How he was scared of himself. How he hated himself.

Despite Jisung saying that Minho could be scared of him if he wanted to since the prince was scared of himself - Minho found that he wasn't scared but curious. Yes, he felt guilty for how badly he treated Jisung now having a better idea of what went on in Jisung's head behind the façade he put on.

Minho regretted hating Jisung because now he knew Jisung would have agreed with each insult given to him. About him being lonely and sleeping around and how Minho had called him a slut but clearly - Jisung had agreed with that.

And it only made Minho feel worse.

"Now, we have Prince Lee Minho here with us this weekend!" The sound of King Han announcing his name zoned him back in, realising he was staring at Jisung as the prince made eye contact. Minho looked away and went up to the podium.

"Good evening" He smiled, putting on his usual professional tone for speeches. But for the first time in his life - Minho wasn't in the speech. He was just saying words for the sake of saying them. He wasn't paying attention at all to what he was saying. All he could think about was Jisung and a part of him hated it.

He hated how quickly his mind began to like the boy. How quickly he found himself wanting to make sure he was alright - but Minho wasn't heartless either and he knew he couldn't just pretend like Jisung fully breaking down wasn't important. It was.

Even though Minho had found their intimate moment together important - this was above that. Not when Jisung was scared of his life now that Minho knew about the magic.

The sound of applause following his speech sounded bringing him back to reality. Jisung slowly walked up to make his speech which hadn't even been written.
