Minho groaned as he woke up. His head was hurting like he never felt before and as he slowly lifted himself up from the soft bedcovers, he held his head as he retraced everything he did last night.
That's when his mind paused at the kiss. The kiss with Jisung. The whole confrontation on why Minho hated Jisung and why Jisung never hated him and just went along with it for fun. Then when they went to the room. The sounds Jisung had made under him. The way his eyes rolled back and his mouth hung open and how his cheeks were glittered with gold.
Minho paused and shut his eyes tightly. Gold? He searched his thoughts for the clearest image of it, he remembered how fucking entranced he was when he saw it. The light specks of gold like glitter like...magic.
Magic? Minho opened his eyes and groaned as he was met with the golden hues of the morning sun. He slowly got out of his bed, feeling thirsty. His throat was dry like he hadn't drank in years and he felt cold.
Hungover. God, he was hungover. Minho took a breath and despite his own bodies protest, he got out of bed and got ready for the day. His mind went back to the thoughts of Jisung. The way he had come undone and looked so blissed out. Then his mind went back to the thoughts of after - when Jisung left like all of that meant nothing.
Minho glanced at himself in the mirror "It did mean nothing..." He uttered to himself as he stared at his dead looking face. "Right?"
Wrong. In fact, Minho had enjoyed it so much, he was slightly scared it meant more. When Jisung had just simple said what they did was just sex - it hurt. Minho didn't know why.
A knock on the door brought him out of his thoughts and in walked a servant who was accompanying him while he stayed at the Han Kingdom. "Morning Your Highness, breakfast with the royal family is ready" She gave him a small smile.
Minho nodded "I'm on my way" he nodded.

Minho genuinely thought he'd feel fine if he just saw Jisung again after everything but it did quite the opposite. The moment he walked into the dining hall and set his gaze onto Jisung - he felt his heart skip a beat because he could see a faint peak of a hickey on Jisung's neck which was of his own doing.
"Good Morning, Prince Minho" The King spoke warmly. Minho bowed a little awkwardly and sat down at the table across from Jisung. He threw him a quick glance but Jisung seemed more interested in his breakfast than anything else.
"So this evening we're holding a banquet" The queen smiled "Just a celebration around the kingdom and then a few speeches from you two at the end" She explained. Jisung looked over at her "You really gave us time to prepare a speech didn't you mother" he sighed.
Minho nodded "I'll get to writing" He smiled. The King nodded "Minho, would you be able to help Jisung write a speech? I'm sure you know he doesn't exactly go to all of his tutors - especially his speech skills class" He chuckled.
Minho gulped and his heart picked up pace but he didn't know why. He didn't know why the thoughts of being alone with Jisung was now nerve wreaking instead of annoying. "Alright" he slowly agreed.
He glanced at Jisung who was now looking at him. Minho felt his heart stop for a split second until he actually clocked how unbothered Jisung was by the entire situation - as if Jisung still hated him.
Minho felt confused now. Jisung was looking at him like he always had - with disinterest. That's when Minho had finally realised Jisung never looked at him with pure hate it was simply disinterest. He took a breath and began to eat. Ignoring Jisung the entire time at the breakfast table.
