Riki stood before his father, King Kael, his eyes cast downward in a mixture of fear and defiance. The dimly lit throne room seemed to shrink, the shadows closing in on him like a suffocating vice.
"You're nothing but a disappointment, Riki," King Kael spat, his voice venomous. "A weak, pathetic excuse for a son. You'll never be worthy of my legacy."
Riki's gaze flashed upward, his eyes blazing with a fierce determination. "I'll prove myself, Father. I'll show you my worth."
King Kael sneered, his lips curling into a cruel smile. "Very well, Riki. I have a task for you. Capture the Vampire Kingdom's prince, Jungwon. Bring him to me, and maybe, just maybe, I'll consider you my son."
Riki's heart raced, his mind reeling with the weight of the mission. He knew the risks, but he also knew he had to succeed. For himself, for his own self-worth.
"I won't fail, Father," Riki said, his voice firm.
King Kael's laughter echoed through the throne room, a cold, mirthless sound. "We'll see about that, Riki. We'll see if you're truly worthy of my name."

King Kael's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "Very well, Riki. Bring me Prince Jungwon. I want him alive."
Riki nodded and turned to leave, but King Kael's words stopped him.
"Wait, Riki."
Riki turned back, his eyes questioning.
"Remember, this is your chance to prove yourself. Don't fail me."
Riki nodded and departed, leaving King Kael to his thoughts.
King Kael's smile grew wider as he gazed into the shadows. "Yes, Prince Jungwon... you hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the Vampire Kingdom's power. And with that power, I'll crush our enemies, enslave the other nations, and rule supreme over Tenebrous."
He chuckled to himself, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Riki has no idea what he's getting himself into. But it doesn't matter. He'll bring me Jungwon, and I'll take care of the rest."
