The next morning, you awoke with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. School was always a whirlwind of activity, and your thoughts about Jake and Zach weighed heavily on your mind. Still, you were determined to push through the day and see what it brought. As you walked to school, you met up with Izzy, who was unusually bubbly. "Morning, Y/N! Guess what?" she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"What?" you asked, curious about her enthusiasm.
"I have a surprise planned for us today. But you'll have to wait until lunch to find out!" she said, giving you a playful wink.
You couldn't help but smile. Izzy's surprises were always fun and unpredictable. "Alright, I'm intrigued. Can't wait to see what you have in store."
Classes went by in a blur of notes and lectures. You found yourself zoning out during history, your mind wandering to your conversations with Zach and your interactions with Jake. Both boys were captivating in their own ways, and you still felt torn between them.
When lunchtime finally arrived, you eagerly joined Izzy at your usual table. The Kiszka brothers and Danny were already there, deep in a discussion about their upcoming band practice.
"Hey, there she is!" Josh said, giving you a warm smile.
"Josh I need your keys." Izzy said holding out her hand
"What? Why? For what?" He said stuffing food in his mouth.
"I can't say." Izzy smiled
"Then no." Josh shook his head.
"Please" Izzy said giving him puppy dog eyes "Pretty please. I promise she will come back in one piece."
Josh sighed digging through his pockets and hand Izzy the keys. "Fine, but I better get it back. You hear me Izzy. It better be in one piece."
"Yes sir." Izzy smiled getting up and kissing him on the cheek.
As you started eating, Izzy leaned over, "Hey, Y/N, you ready for our surprise adventure?"
You nodded, excitement bubbling up inside you. "Absolutely. What do you have planned?"
Izzy's eyes twinkled mischievously. "You'll see. But first, we need to sneak out of here. Think you can handle that?"
You laughed. "Sneaking out? Sounds like a piece of cake."
After finishing your lunch, you and Izzy quietly slipped out of the cafeteria and made your way to the school's side entrance. With a quick glance around to ensure no one was watching, you darted out and headed toward the parking lot.
Izzy led you to Josh's car, and you both hopped in. "So, where are we going?" you asked, buckling your seatbelt.
"It's a surprise, remember?" she said, grinning as she started the engine.
The drive was filled with laughter and anticipation. Izzy refused to give you any hints, keeping the destination a mystery. Eventually, you pulled up to a charming little café you had never been to before.
"Ta-da! Girls' day out starts here," Izzy announced, parking the car.
You stepped out and looked around, admiring the cozy atmosphere of the café. "This place is adorable, Izzy. Great choice."
"Thanks! I thought it would be the perfect spot for us to relax and catch up," she said, leading the way inside.
You found a cozy corner table and ordered some drinks and pastries. As you settled in, Izzy leaned forward, her expression serious for a moment. "So, how are you feeling about everything? Jake, Zach, school... it must be a lot to handle."
