It had just been a long day of investigation and digging deeply for the Kira case, although everyone else was tired and decided to nap for a bit L stayed up. Of course with light.
"Hey ryuzaki, aren't you gonna rest at least for a few minutes?" Light said, lawliet looked at him. They made eye contact
'Since when did light look so good?.. n-no!! I-I can't think like that! I-I'm not gay.. and, he's already dating misa!' L thought to himself.
"I don't think so light, I'm not really tired." L replied "I don't get it L, how can you only sleep 17 hours and then stay up for 102 hours" said light
"I don't know light, don't mention it tho" L said "what ever you say ryuzaki" replied light
As the night kept going Lawliet kept thinking about light, his voice, his personality, his intelligence, his style, his eyes, his laugh, his smile, and everything else about him.
"Do you ACTUALLY like misa, light?" L asked, light looked at him and brought his chair closer to L's chair.
Light sighed and leaned back in his chair.
"I'm gonna be real honest with you, ryuzaki. I only stayed with Misa because she kept begging me to make her my girlfriend and I wouldn't like to hurt a woman's feelings so I couldn't reject her. So, for as long as she's in love with me I guess she's my girlfriend." Light replied.
L blushed a bit, and thought that maybe he had a slightly better chance
L then realized he was falling for Light.
