Monday Morning
"Come-on Tara we're gonna be late!"Brandon called through my door again.
"Brandon I dare you to knock on the door again cause if you do I swear I'll cut your hands off and shove them up your ass so you'll have fingers for teeth."
"Touchie" he mumbled. I rolled my eyes and finished brushing my hair before going downstairs.
"Well if it isn't the trained assassin."Brandon said. I grabbed my bag ignoring his comment.
"Hurry-up or we'll be late."I mocked.
"Funny.Real mature."he retorted
"Can we go one morning without you two at eachothers' throats?"Mom asked Brandon and I glanced at eachother.
"No"we replied in unison.
"Well it was worth a try." she sighed.
"Mom, brothers and sisters fight all the time I mean you and Uncle Lou argue all the time."Brandon pointed out. Yes our Mom is Louis' little sister.
"I guess now go before you really are late."
"Bye Mom"we called giving her a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving.
"So what's up with you and Mason?"Brandon asked once we were outside.
"Nothing"I shrugged Ashton looked at me doubtfully.
"Sure we'll believe that for now"he said.
"Whatever.....just because you guys are my older brothers doesn't mean you have to know everything."
"I guess but its our job to protect our baby sister."
"Trust me guys I can take care of myself but good to know you guys got my back if needed."
"No problem but tell anyone and we'll deny everything."Brandon warned while Ashton nodded.
"Fine I won't tell just don't bug Mason."
"Agreed"
"By the way Ash watch your back Chris might try and kill you after what happened on Friday."I informed him.
"Good to know."he nodded while we walked into school.
"See you guys later"I called before heading to my locker. I love my brothers no matter how much they annoy me. And that shows Mom that we don't fight all the time.

~Ashton's P.O.V~
I shut my locker and turned to go home.
"Well look what we have here." I turned and saw Chris along with some of his friends.
"What do you want."I sighed knowing exactly what was coming.
"The other day you uh you had a little mishap and I'm here to return the favor with the help of some of my friends." he said before aiming a punch at me. I tried to fight back but just ended up getting my ass kicked.
"Get off him what the hell is your problem?" I heard some say. They retreated.
"Stay away from Cassidy or else."Chriswared before stalking off followed by the others.
"You okay Ash?"Brandon asked me I nodded slightly before trying to get up only to greeted by a sharp pain in my chest and sat back down again.
"Are you sure?"he asked he sounded distant then everything went black.
