– Bobby –

Max and I went our separate ways once we said our goodbyes when we stepped in the hospital

I made my way towards Tank's room, with a bouquet of flowers in hand. I'm not the romantic type.. You know?

Like the type to give flowers or chocolates when it's Valentines Day or going on romantic dates

It's just not my thing...

So, I'm sure he'll at least see them as a "get well soon" flowers

I let out a small sigh and soon arrived in the room, knocking on the door lightly

There was no answer

I knocked again and waited for a couple of seconds, and still no answer

"Tank, I'm coming in–" I said before opening the door

The lights were off, but the curtains were wide open, allowing the sunlight to come in and illuminating the room

And there he was.. Laying on the bed, asleep

I'm sure he's tired with all the painkillers that are giving him, so it makes sense that he would be asleep

I closed the door behind me and placed the flowers on the nearby armchair, taking a seat on the other empty chair

I looked around the room, noticing that there were 5 different vases and with different kinds of flowers in each and one of them

I assume that they're from his family

It must be nice to have a family..

I smiled slightly, and I looked over at Tank, who was still asleep, snoring

How long was he asleep for?

Probably not for long.. Since the nurses come in to check on him and, of course, have to wake him up if he was asleep

I let out a yawn, exhausted by the classes and the drive here and especially since I didn't get any sleep last night because of this.. Accident

I slouched in the chair, looking up at the ceiling, trying to get myself to sleep, but somehow, I couldn't

Even though I'm tired–

Thankfully, no one asked what happened to my face.. Except for a few stares, but overall, not bad

I felt my eyes getting heavy already, and I was about to close them, but I heard some shuffling happening in the room, and Tank was finally awake

"Bobby?" He asked, looking at me

"Hey," I simply replied, getting up from the chair

"How.. How long have you been sitting there for?"

"Not long. I arrived just now, so don't worry," I smiled

"Oh, I see.."

"So, how are you? Does your shoulder still hurt?"

"Yeah, sorta. I can't lift my arm up yet.. But, I'm trying my best to take it easy."

I nodded, "That's good.."

..

I looked down at my shoes, feeling a bit awkward..

Let me guess, you're wondering why?

Well, you see..

Once the doctor came out with news about Tank, we all went to follow him to his room
