"So, what's the plan?" I asked, glancing at them

Who are you gonna call?

Ghostbusters!

"I'm sure I already explained it," Max said, looking at me

"Wait.. That's the plan?! We are just going to waltz in? No plan?" P.J. shouted

"Yeah. Is something wrong?" Max questioned

"Is something wrong? Something is definitely wrong! I'm sure they know that we are going to look for Slouch!! They might have weapons!" P.J. explained

"You're being a bit too dramatic here, man.. This isn't a movie where we have to fight villains! We are just going to check if Slouch is really alive," I explained

"Yeah. There is nothing to worry about, P.J." Max smiled

P.J. turned his head back and forth and slowly nodded his head, "Okay.. Then why does the house suddenly look scary.."

My eyes widened, and he wasn't kidding at all...

I parked the car at the side of the street and rolled down the windows, peeking our heads out

There were dark clouds around the area, and suddenly thunder came out of nowhere

"M.. M.. Max?" P.J. asked, looking at him

"I'm sure it isn't something to worry about-"

We heard a crow calling, and we turned our heads towards the crow to which was on a light post, looking at us

"You were saying?" I asked, gulping

I liked horror movies.. No, I love them

But experiencing it in real life? It's a no for me

"Oh, c'mon, guys! It's actually pretty normal for crows to do that," Max stated, looking at us

"We are in the middle of spring!! It's not fall!" P.J. screamed, rolling his window up and hiding himself in the back of the van

"Yeah, man.. I don't know about this- I'm getting some spooky vibes from the house. And it's not the first time I felt like this, but this time... It's really spooky," I stated, looking up at the house

"C'mon, Bobby.. Not you too," Max looked at me

"I'm just saying!" I defended

He let out a sigh and opened the door, "You guys can wait here. I can go investigate myself," he said before getting out of the van

I watched him walk up to the door, and I let out a loud groan, frustrated but a bit scared

Not that something scary might be in there, but like something in there is waiting for us to go in

Though, at the same time.. I don't want to leave Max alone in there
