– Bradley –

It's been two hours since of my arrest..

And being locked up for 2 hours already made me paranoid

I asked multiple times to call my mother or my father, but they either denied it or never came back with an answer

It was really unfair since I knew that even criminals who commit murder get permission to call at least someone

So, why can't I?

I let out a sigh and leaned back against the wall, tried, and my body started to feel itchy since the air in this place was grossing me out

I'm not sure how long I can handle this...

"Bradley Uppercrust?"

I picked myself up and looked at the officer who was in front of my cell and unlocked the cell

"Is my lawyer here?" I asked

Seriously.. Where is that bastard? They said that he'll arrive in a couple of minutes, but that was an hour ago..

"No.. But, you have permission to make one call. So choose wisely," she said, waiting for me to walk out with the handcuffs in her hand

I simply nodded and made my way towards her

. . .

"In here," she said, and I made a turn towards the door, and she opened it, allowing me to go inside and to one of the phone boxes

"I'll be outside, but that doesn't mean that I won't keep an eye on you, so no funny business," she stated before leaving the room

I scoffed, "Like there's anywhere else to run.." I mumbled and dialed in the numbers

I waited for a couple of seconds, looking down at my shoes and hoping that someone.. Anyone can pick up

Thankfully, someone did, but it's NOT the person that I want to talk to right now

Especially right now..

"Hello?"

My eyes widened, and I stared at the phone before putting it close to my ear, "Hey Melissa.."

"Baby brother! What is the meaning of this? Did you get into another fight again?" She asked, sounding worried, but in reality.. She never cared about me

She's only personifying to be an older sister. Deceiving everyone, including my parents, but not me

I can read through her filthy lies.. And I'm sure she knows that

"Can I speak to Mother?" I asked, leaning against the wall

She hummed through the phone, "She's not here. But I can help you with whatever you need help with!"

I sighed loudly, pinching the bridge of my nose, "I don't want to speak with you right now, and I perfectly know that mother is there as we speak."

"..."

"Now, be a good sister and give Mother the phone," I said angrily

She scoffed, "Fine.."

I heard her call out for our mother, and I heard them talking a bit before hearing my mother's voice on the telephone

"Bradley, dear.. Did you get into another fight so soon?" My mother asked

"No, mother... I was charged for murder," I said slowly, feeling extremely guilty for disappointing once again

"For murder?"

"And for attempting homicide.." I picked myself up from the wall and hit my head on the phone box, narrowing my eyes, "I'm sorry, mother..."
