Chapter 4: The Mouse Circus

So, at night when your husband dedicated himself to getting the promotion, you decided to test out your dream. You broke a piece of cheese into three pieces and put them near the slightly opened door.

You stared at the cheese with a desire to eat it but you had to hold yourself up. "Speaking of craving, I really wanted to eat (favorite fruit) right now. Sadly, we won't leave this house until tomorrow. When (Husband's name) go to the office..." You mumbled before you hurriedly went to bed and pretended to be asleep.

You waited and waited until you heard the sound of a mouse squeaking. You smiled widely at the sound before you sat up and two mice had carried the bait and left the room. The third mouse picked the last piece and followed the rest.

You quickly tried to catch up with the mice as they headed to the small door. You excitedly kneeled on the ground before opening the door, seeing the same bright, colorful tunnel again. You didn't hesitate to crawl through the tunnel for a second time.

You came to the other world before you smelled the cooking and heard a familiar humming again. You went to the kitchen with a wide smile to meet the other husband again.

The other husband wore a different outfit from when you met him. He wore a black blazer with white polka dots with red outlines, a black undershirt he wore inside, black trousers with polka dots, and crimson red loafers. He was wearing a red apron over his outfit right now because he was cooking his meal for you.
