"I'M HOME!" You screamed at the top of your lungs as you felt happy to be back at home again. You dusted yourself off from the cobweb as you walked around, shouting for someone to hear you.

"Anybody here?!" You walked around the bottom floor before you noticed your husband's bag and pack of take-out on the table in the kitchen. "Oh, (Husband's name)'s home!" Your hand went to grab the take-out but you found that they went rot and smelled very disgusting.

"Oh. How long have I been gone?" As you were in deep thought, the sound of the doorbell rang, bringing a smile to your face.

"I missed you so much, (Husband's name). I'm sorry about-" You opened the door but met with Wybie, much to your disappointment. "Oh. The real Wybie."

"Huh?" Wybie giggled before he said a reason for him to come here. "Yeah, so, you know that old doll I gave you? Um... My grandpa's real mad. Says it was Grandma's. The one that disappeared."

"You stole that doll, didn't you?!" You scolded with a finger pointed at him.

"Well, it looked just like you, and I figured..."

"It used to look like this pioneer woman, then the Georgian woman, then it was this mother who said she regretted leaving her child and her husband behind after their fight-" Your eyes widened for a second as you realized who it might be. "Your missing grandma. I think I just met her. Come on." You went behind Wybie as you pushed him forward to the living room.

"Listen, ma'am, I'm really not supposed to- Whoa!" You put him still on the spot near the small door before you stood near it.

"She's in there."

Wybie looked at the door you pointed at, he crouched next to it. "Can you... Can you unlock it?" His hand was about to unlock the door but you quickly grabbed his wrist in time.

"Not in a million years. But it wouldn't matter. She can't escape without her eyes. None of the ghosts can."

Wybie mumbled in disbelief as he tried to find excuses and pulled his wrist from your grasp. "Yeah. So I really need to get that doll."

"Great! I'd love to get rid of it." You dragged Wybie to the master bedroom as you began to search for the button-eyed doll. "Where are you hiding, you snarky, little monster?"

"You and Grandpa been talking?"

"The doll's his spy." You opened the wardrobe and threw your clothes over your head. You looked under the bed but found nothing. "It's how he watches you, finds out what's wrong with your life."

"The doll is my grandpa's spy?"

"No! The other husband. He's got this whole world where everything's better. The food, the garden," You checked all the shelves on the nightstand, even the bathroom before standing so close to Wybie. "The neighbors... But it's all a trap."

Wybie gulped in nervous as he couldn't stand around you anymore. "Yeah, I think I heard someone calling me, Mrs. (Last name)."

"Don't believe me? You can ask the cat!"

"The cat?" He tilted his head, growing confused even more by your nonsense. "I'll just tell Grandpa that you couldn't find the doll, ma'am!" He hopped over the bed as he quickly sprinted to the exit.

"What?! I'm telling the truth! Why don't you believe me?!" You screamed as you stepped closer, towering over him.

"That's 'cause you're crazy!" You grew angry by his insult as you chased after him who screamed and quickly hopped on his motorcycle.

"You brat!" You stopped just outside the porch as you saw how wet the floor was, not wanting to hurt yourself for your baby's sake.

"You're crazy woman!" Wybie shouted over his shoulder as he sped up his motorcycle, driving away from you.
