In the infirmary

Alia was sitting on the bench of the infirmary while Shrey was holding her hands and gently blowing air on her wound while applying the antiseptic.

Alia hisses with the burning sensation. Shrey looks at her. His heart pains to see her hurt.

"Don't you have anything to say? " Shrey asks Alia who had been awfully quiet.

" Should I say something? " Alia questions back.

"How long are you planning to be angry with me. It's been a year Aloo. When will you let go it. We already wasted a year " Shrey says tears brimming in his eyes but he gulped them down.

"Shrey , do you think it was easy for me to stay away from you? The whole past year, there wasn't a single day when I didn't miss you but still you thought distancing yourself with me would be the solution of your problem . Shrey , do you still think that it was not your fault. " Alia questions him, her voice cracking with vulnerability.

"Aloo, I know what I did was wrong but I am trying my best to make up to you. I was a jerk. I was so overwhelmed with studies, new atmosphere and friends that I didn't consider your feelings. I know I was selfish but can't you give me a chance. Please Aloo" Shrey pleads Alia, his eyes displaying the sincerity he held in his words.

Alia looks into his eyes. No words were exchanged between them.

"You need to gain your apology Shrey" Alia responds.

Hearing this, a huge grin forms on his face.
"Thank you thankyou so much Aloo, I promise I will get back with you and earn your apology as well"

Alia simply hums but yet a small probably unnoticed smile can be felt on her face.

It was another beautiful day. Today is officially their first day in university. The girls dress up in jeans and tops opting for a comfortable outfit in the hot weather. They grab their bags ready to embrace their first day.

As they make their way out of the dorm building, a challenge comes across them to successfully find their lecture Hall.

" Ye in university walo se ye nahi hota ki sign board laga de ki kaha kya hai, ab iss bhool bhulaiya mein apna lecture Hall kaise dhoondhenge " Aadya says irritated.
[ Can't these university people put sign boards for the way. Now how will we find our way to the lecture in this maze? ]

" Shant raho jwalamukhi, poochte hai na seniors se " Diya suggests offering a solution to the problem.
[ Keep calm Volcano. Let's ask the seniors ]

They make their way towards a girl who seemed well acquainted with the college.

"Hi didi, app hume Business studies ke lecture Hall ka raasta dikha sakti hai " Alia asks politely.
[ Hi sis, would you please show us the way to the lecture Hall of business studies ]

"Sure, aao mere saath" The pretty senior leads the way.
[ Sure, come with me ]

" By the way, mera naam Jaya hai, tum logo ka naam kya hai? "
The senior asks trying to initiate a conversation.
[ My name is Jaya. What's your name? ]

" Mera naam Alia hai, ye Riya, ye Diya and ye Aadya" Alia introduces.
[ I am Alia. She is Riya, this is Diya and she is Aadya ]

" Tumlog behne ho kya, sabke naam ek jaise " Jaya asks curiously.
[ Are guys sisters? Your names are so similar ]

"Main, in chudailo ki behne. Bilkull nahi didi. At least insaano ki behan bolti app fir bhi theek tha. " Aadya says playfully.
[ Me, sister of these witches. Not at all sis. At least compare me with the sister of humans ]

"Chudail aur hum? Dekho kaun bol raha hai " Riya says prompting nods from Alia and Diya.
[ Witches, and us? Look who's talking ]

" Anyways, we are not sisters, just best friends. Pata nahi main kaise fas gayi inn logo ke beech mein " Diya says.
[ I don't know how I was stuck with them ]

Jaya chuckles on it. On the way she gave them a mini campus tour .

"Woh raha khamoshi ka khazana aur gyan ka jungle" Jaya says pointing towards an old yet maintained building.
[ That's the treasure of silence and the jungle of knowledge]

"Matlab" The four of them ask in chorus.
[ Means ]

" That's the library, where you will spend most of the nights crying "

Aadya chuckles at it and says,
" tab toh main uske aas pass bhi nahi bhatkoongi. "
[ Then, I won't even wander around it ]

"Par Aadya, Reyaan bhai apna jyaada tar time idhar hi bitate hai. Tu pakka nahi aayegi idhar " Riya murmurs teasingly in Aadya's ear.
[ But Aadya, Reyaan brother spends most of his time here only. Are you sure you won't come here? ]

Aadya's cheek turns red hearing it.
"Fir toh aana banta hai, akhir woh jaha rahenge humko unko saath rehna chahie na" Aadya responds back to which Riya gives her a teasing smile.
[ Then, I should go there. After all wherever he will be , I will follow him ]

They reach the lecture Hall.

" Aage mat baithna, the professors spit while talking and it's a no slouching zone" Jaya recommends them with a chuckle.
[ Don't sit in the front ]

"Aree, aage toh bilkull nahi. Mere ko sona hai, khana hai. Ye sab aage kaise hoga " Aadya exclaims .
[ I will never sit in the front. I have sleep and eat. How can I do these in the front ]

"Tu class attend karne aayi hai, picnic ke lie nahi" Alia says lightly slapping Aadya's head.
[ You are here to attend the class, not for a picnic ]

"Tu na jyaada dadi amma ki tarah bate na karo. Ye sab nahi kiya toh kya kiya. " Aadya says
[ You don't be a grandma. If we won't do these, then whats the point of college ]

Jaya chuckles at their talks and bids them goodbye but no before wishing them luck for their first day.
