So shall we go back to the old times,
Sitting here composing rhymes?
To your tresses and dark curls?
Your deep eyes of chocolate swirls?
Oh gosh, have you gone again?
Perhaps it's the fault of the rain.
The ocean that keeps us apart,
Though we really are one heart...
I hope I'm not irritating you,
Everything seems empty without you..
The verses lose meaning, and get cold,
Won't you give me your hand to hold?
5 Minutes, 4 verses. I'm getting slow,
Eminem would have rapped 5 more.
I'm really enjoying myself,
My Physics book is on the shelf.
I laugh, you're adorable
I've just been gone for five minutes
And here you are, finished with your verses
Imagine if I'll be gone for so long...
A minute is an eternity without you,
And an eternity is a minute when I hold you,
The rain may fall in unending rage,
But Time shall tell the wisdom of Age.
Poor physics book now forgotten
The nerd likes to study me more
I hope you'll find and learn something
I'm a collection of blank pages
If only I had learnt an equation,
To win your heart through persuasion,
I would have gladly filled those pages,
Mine were torn and thrown in cages..
The cages you are talking about
Must be my heart
And this blood-beating thing
Would gladly gladly accept torn pages
I fear that your words are true..
For I am empty without you,
You've stolen my heart long ago,
My pages had your name, though..
Hmmmm...
I guess I'll just have to wait for a chapter
Where I'll see my first name
Written next to your last name
