Song Qi opened her eyes when she felt someone hugging her from behind.

"Ji Fan?"

She started crying while hitting Ji Fan on his chest.

"You are late! I was about to die! You don't love, that's why you left me here to die!"

Ji Fan held her hands and kissed them.

"I love you, Song Qi. I love you so much. I am sorry for taking so long. I promise it won't happen again, okay?"

Suddenly, the demon threw another stone on Ji Fan.

Ji Fan smiled at Song Qi,

Song Qi got worried,

"Will you be alright?"

Ji Fan nodded and went towards that demon.

While saying this, Ji Fan took out the ring that the Demon king gave him and showed it to everyone. All the demons got shocked as it was the ring everyone knew which belonged to the king. The demon who threw the stone earlier said in agitation,

"He must have stole it! The Demon King would never allow a human to stay in this world and pollute our environment! He is a thief! Both of them should be punished!"

Ji Fan replied in a loud voice,

"I am not a thief! I didn't steal it, and it's very obvious. Look at me! Do you think a weak demon with no powers at all can steal a ring from the Great Demon King's finger? I mean, you are calling The king of the Demons weaker than me? Don't you think this allegation is more worthy of a severe punishment? How will the Demon King react when he will hear that you have hurt someone whom he himself has granted permission?"

The demon got petrified and went away from them. There was a great uproar within the crowd. After a while without saying anything, all the demons started to move away from that place. Ji Fan went back to Song Qi and picked her up. Song Qi, before leaving, looked at Yu Xi, who, when she noticed Song Qi looking at her, she quickly turned around and walked away from them along with her son. Song Qi got disappointed, but she knew that it was not an easy thing to accept her as she was the only human in this entire demon world. She then looked at Ji Fan's, who, despite being weak, was willing to protect her at all cost. She smiled and hugged him tighter while keeping her eyes closed.

After reaching home. Ji Fan helped Song Qi in dressing her wounds and felt extremely bad about all that had happened to her. He looked at Song Qi's hands and said,

"I am sorry, Qi'er. I brought you into this mess. The marks from the previous injury have not recovered, and yet you got more of them. I shouldn't have brought you here. It's all my fault."

Song Qi held his hands softly.

"It was my choice to come her with you so you don't have to feel sorry about it."

Ji Fan shook his head.

"No! You were unaware of the consequences as you have never been here before, but I did! I knew how demons will treat you when they'll get to know you are a human, but still, I brought you here when I knew this place is a hell for humans."
