First Encounter

Ji Fan jumped outside the cave and he saw a new world in front of him. The door to human world got closed as soon as he jumped outside it. He looked around,

"Now, what should I do first?

He said to himself,

"First, I should find a place where I can stay."

Ji Fan went out of the bushes and saw many humans walking around him. They were watching him in a suspicious manner. Ji Fan got confused,

"Why are they looking at me like that? Did they recognized that I am demon? No no, how can that be? I look exactly like them. Then why?

Then a couple came towards him. The male gave him gave a few silver coins with a smile. Ji Fan took them unconsciously. He was unable to understand the situation. Suddenly, when was passing by a stream, he saw his reflection in the running water. He was wearing cloths that were torn from many sides. Then he understood,

"Don't tell me, because of my cloths...These are one of my best cloths. How can they??...Okay, just leave it. First, I have to ask someone for a place to stay."

He looked around and saw an old man who was sitting on a bench. He was feeding pigeons. Ji Fan asked him,

"Sir! Will you please tell me, is there a place near where I can stay for couple of days?"

The old man looked at him and his cloths, then showed him the way through his finger and said,

"Go straight and then take a turn. You will find the most cheapest hotel."

The old man was looking at him as if he had done him a great favor by telling him the way to the cheapest hotel.

Ji Fan after reading the old man's expressions, realized what he meant. He thanked the old man and started walking according to the old man's instructions. After a while, he reached a hotel. He went inside. It was big and pretty good from the inside .

"Why the old man called it the cheapest hotel? I think it is pretty good."

As he walked to the table a person appear before him. He was an old man, with a beard and appeared to be in his eight's. He gave Ji Fan a smile and asked in a soft voice,

"Yes sir, how can I help you?"

Ji Fan while looking at surroundings said,

"Well I was looking for a room to stay."

The old man's smile got bigger,

"So you want to rent a room here?"

The eyes of the old man got bigger as if he had gain interest in the conversation. Ji Fan got suspicious of his expression and thought and thought in his mind,

'Why is he looking at me with that expression. Wait, does he think that I don't have money and is making fun of me?'

After thinking Ji Fan confidently said,

"Yes of course, give me the best one."

'I have got a lots of money from the King. Hehe..'

The old man said while opening his register,

"Ooo..okay sir, I will arrange it right a way."

While looking at the place Ji Fan noticed that it was empty. There was not even a bird chirping out there. There was no one, except the old man. Ji Fan looked at the old man and asked,

"Why your hotel is so empty? I think it is pretty good. There should be lines of people standing here for reservation."

The old man suddenly got tensed,
