Charles' POV
Why? Why would anybody do this to me? I've never hurt anybody. I've never hit anybody, I've never meant to hurt anybody.
Why would that bastard do this? Ruin my reputation and Max's reputation? I wish somebody would put a bullet through his head, because if someone doesn't, I'll have to do that myself.
Courtney's POV
Charles hasn't been well these past few days. Mentally and physically. Not only is the media slandering him for being homosexual, he's also getting a shitload of hate.
Max is also in that state. His sister is looking to put him into a nice mental hospital that can treat him well and improve his mental health.
I've recommended this idea to Charles. He didn't like it. He almost had a panic attack, almost if that was a trigger for him.
Flashback - Eleven years ago
Paris, France
Third Person POV
Charles Leclerc is a fifteen year old teen, temporarily living in Paris due to some family issues. His karting season has ended and he has already made the jump to Formula 2 Renault.
Unfortunately, his favorite aunt died recently and this has caused Charles to lose control of his mental health. Everyday he would think about it but he never had "the balls", as he said, to do it.
One day, Charles' parents found him unconscious in the bath, blood gushing out of his covered arms. They rushed him to the hospital and they thankfully saved him.
After a shit ton of blood transfusions and bandages, the young teen recovered. He was expecting to go home, but what the future has in store for him was even worse.
His parents had no say in this decision. The hospital forced Charles to get transferred to a mental hospital.
There, he was abused, tortured and malnourished. They released him 3 months later after deeming him "No longer a threat to society".
He was never a threat to anybody but himself.
Courtney's POV
Back to the present day
Charles hasn't messaged me in 3 days. I'm starting to get worried so I went to his apartment.
I knock on the door and I wait for someone to open it. No one does after one minute. I knock again and wait. Nothing. I then rang the doorbell, thinking that Charles was just asleep, but one minute later, still nothing.
I try to pick the lock until I hear noise on the other side. It's not loud, but it's noticeable. Heavy breathing, coming from what looks like to be his bedroom.
I continue picking the lock, successfully breaking into Charles' house. All the lights are off and the alarm doesn't go off, which I think is weird.
The house is trashed, cabinets open, everything all over the place, doors broken, glass everywhere, you get it.
