"You're on in five." The producer says, looking at Courtney while she's getting her hair fixed and her makeup ready.
Courtney's going to expose all about the PR relationship on Live TV, on a morning show from the UK.
Nobody's expecting this to happen - not even Carla. Courtney's going to drop the bomb on this whole scam and reveal the truth.
Back at the hotel...
"Hey Charles..." Max says, lifting his head up from his phone. Charles had been staying with Max in a hotel in London since Max's house was still, for some reason, a "crime scene" and Charles' house was still unsafe. "You might want to turn on the TV."
Charles grabs the TV remote and turns it on. Charles is immediately greeted with a random british morning talk-show. "What the fuck is this, Max? Why did you want me to watch this?" Charles protests, putting down the remote on the bed stand next to him.
"Just wait for it." Max turns off his phone and also puts it on his bed stand, crossing his arms and waiting for something to appear on the show. Charles wasn't a fan of these morning talk-shows because they were "too annoying" and "too gossip-y". To each their own.
"And on today's show we're bringing on someone of great fame to the stage to tell all about the truth they have hidden, ladies and gentlemen, Courtney Wright!" The announcer yells as Charles repositions himself in his bed.
"The fuck is she going to do?" Charles looks at Max, puzzled, but Max only shrugs non-verbally. Charles sighs. "It's not going to be good, then."
"Thank you so much for having me on your show, Marissa. It's really a great honour to be here on this stage." Charles scoffs.
"Great honour my darlin'!" Charles imitates Courtney's voice as Max lets out a little chuckle before looking back at the TV.
"So, Courtney, you've been in a relationship with Formula One driver Charles Leclair, is that right?"
"It's Leclerc you dumb whore!" Charles lifts up his hand in argument while screaming at the TV. Max got a little startled but he felt butterflies in his stomach after that. And butterflies in his dick as well.
"Yes, that's right, but the relationship hasn't been... entirely truthful." The crowd gasps and Charles spits out his water.
"What?!" The men yell at the same time, looking at each other fully shocked. They were not expecting this.
"While I do love Charles, I would only date him honestly. This relationship we had? Not honest. A whole PR fake."
The crowd gasps and goes silent in the blink of an eye. "Holy shit." Max gasps in horror as Charles continues with an emotionless face.
Back at the FIA office...
"That bitch did what?!" Brian exclaims as he slams his hands on the large glass table. His chair tries to retract but it is quickly stopped by his fat legs.
"As I said, sir, you shouldn't start the plan nonetheless." The assistant says, holding a large clipboard, her legs almost collapsing from the pressure. She's got one of the richest guys in the world in front of her and he could kill her at any time if she does the wrong thing, which is what she's doing right now. The wrong thing.
Telling everyone the truth was the wrong thing. And she knew it. But did she do anything to try to stop herself? No. Why would she?
Why would she stop herself from saying the truth? Courtney didn't deserve this so called "plan". It would rock everyone's world, including Charles' and it would definitely raise some eyebrows.
"Why shouldn't I move forward with this plan? What, are you suddenly interested in her? So you don't want this to happen?"
She rapidly nods her head no. "Of course not, I'm just saying you should reconsider."
"Please, leave, before I do something you're not going to like." The assistant didn't want to challenge her luck so she quickly left the office. Brian was capable of anything, and she definitely would not've been ready for whatever he would do to her if she stayed there.
"These fucking people..." He scoffs while pouring himself another glass of water. "So sensitive nowadays. So... submissive."
Nobody was ready for what was about to happen. Not even Courtney herself.
