--𝔏𝔲𝔠𝔦𝔣𝔢𝔯--

Every time I arrive here, I have to remind myself that this place is to be respected. Here, I don't hold the power that I have in my own domain.

The Void is a very unpredictable place, Even I have to be careful.

To traverse this realm, it's a must to retain extreme control.

Navigation only works through clear intent. To deviate even for a moment could begin the downward spiral that Vacant's experience.

A chill runs through me.

With every moment of time that passes, I remind myself of why I'm here.

"The incarnation of darkness..."

I can't help but ponder; what will the incarnation of darkness look like? Does it really traverse realities? What is its purpose?

The excitement grows, I feel rather jittery just thinking about it. Perhaps this will do something to alleviate this...lack.

Life for me, for all Daemons, it'll change.

It's...about time.

Its just then that I notice something unfamiliar.

Deep glowing red eyes peering in the distance. The form not yet clear.

Taking a moment to observe it, I notice that it too is observing me.

Tilting my head, a smile begins to form in the corners of my mouth. I can't help but wonder, does it know who I am?

Upon that thought I've decided to approach the creature.

I want to see the form it takes.

Show me.

"--Oh?"

It's not exactly what I was expecting...

With a pale complexion and rather small form, its vacant eyes seem so expressive and lively in comparison. I expected darkness, but instead find myself face to face with a being that appears to hold more purity than even that of an angel.

Its pale form is complimented well by the long white hair, its antlers making it seem taller than it really is. It's only the subtle things that reveal that this is not in fact a Celestial.

Its hand reaches towards me, revealing razor sharp claws.

I wonder...why does it reach for me? Why does it feel like I could be swallowed by those eyes?

I can't help but chuckle under my breath.

"How intriguing..."

I notice the creature step back. Its eyes never breaking contact with mine, the beings lips begin to move, however whatever it seems to say never reaches me.

It bolts in an instant.

.

.

.

Leaving nothing but this nameless color...

...Dammit!

I hadn't been prepared for it to just run away! I had been under the impression that...

It was fate.

I'm supposed to wield you.

"Ugh..."

Oh well, no matter.

In time, we will cross paths again; I'm sure of it.

I'll be prepared then.
