This whole situation has become such a nuisance...

Tap-Tap-Tap.

...One would assume that after such major events taking place that things would begin to move quickly, right?

Wrong.

Tap-Tap-Tap.

I've been digging for information, looking for some kind of tangible evidence. Some kind of trail to follow.

Tap-Tap-Tap.

Yet, it eludes me!

Over these last few weeks, it seems that I've been stuck in this liminal space.

I can't even seem to reason this out within my own mind.

"--Uhm...Excuse me, Lord Lucifer?"

.

.

.

"...Yes?"

"...We are awaiting your Verdict."

My attention shifts.

Infront of me stands what appears to be a set of twins holding a chained creature behind them.

"Show it to me; Does it have a halo?"

The trade glimpses of uncertainty with one another.

"Not quite..." One speaks and the other drags the creature forward, kicking it down in front of me.

The Naphelum begins to look up, though I'm astonished it can even see. Its horns are curved around its head, nearly covering the eyes of what appears to be a blind man.

The horns have not connected yet.

Taking in the form of yet another hybrid, I can never get over how strange they look.

Its unnatural to harbor the traits of both a Daemon and a Celestial. With lilac skin and midnight hair yet feathers that line its whole body; I can't help but think... it just looks so...feral.

It would be a perfect addition...Truly...

...However, ...

"Kill it."

I'd rather not risk the unnecessary trouble for a creature who may not even retain its own free will.

The twins bow, dragging the now rebellious freak of nature away, no doubt fighting against its own demise.

I stand up.

Taking moment to appreciate the new decor.

The glass ceiling does make it easier to tell time, The two suns shine brightly in the peak of the sky, illuminating it in various shades of red and purple. The light shining through this darkened, obsidian room gives it a rather... ominous glow.

...It's gotten rather late, hasn't it?

I'm tired.

My attention shifts to all the others who lay and wait.

My work here is never done,

...However, I am.

"The rest of you are dismissed. I'm done here."

Groaning ensues throughout the room as many begin their exit.

Pinching the bridge of my nose, I sigh in relief.

"Ah..."

Its finally over.
