After confirming the validity of the creatures existence, I've decided now that once and for all...

There is no more refraining or room for restraint.

I'd be lying if I said that its words didn't haunt me,

.

.

.

'I will watch as your light fades away...and your spirit withers into nothing.'

.

.

.

Repeating senselessly.

One can only wonder, What happens after that?

To experience eternity while simultaneously losing oneself?

Choking for a moment, My mouth seems to move on its own.

Another chuckle escaping my lips.

'How absurd!'

.

.

.

Upon that thought, everything becomes silent.

Unsettling even...

'Why?'

.

.

.

When did the silence become so loud?

.

.

.

'Why do I pursue you?'

Moments like this, make me question my own sanity.

The question, repeating, burning itself into my mind.

'Does it even matter?'

'Its merely a thrill.' I remind myself.

There's reason to look any further.

No reason to question, 'Why?'

.

.

.

Standing at the edge, The Void encroaches nearby.

The withering of matter makes for quite an interesting transition. Stone, gemstones, plants all distorting, melding into nothing.

A thought suddenly crosses my mind.

How many times have I stood here before only to awaken like nothing happened?

After all... I can remember standing in this exact spot.

Reaching out my arm, Outstretching my hand and allowing the subtle movement of my fingers. I begin to observe it.

'If its on my own body. It cant be erased.'

Using my claws I drag them intentionally across my wrist,

A bright crimson hue emerging from the wound,

Drip-

Drip-

Drip-
