Uranus - Parallel Universe Theory

Will be posting more FreenBecky one shot soon as we anticipate for The Loyal Pin -- FB active era again hehe... but for now, let me digest Uranus contents.. 😂

parallel universe 'theories and concepts' in Uranus2324 -- that might not make sense at first but it will eventually click.

1.  Traveller --- there is a theory that some people can access the parallel universe and they are often called 'traveller'. In the movie, Kath (in present time) is the traveller, she have access in multi dimension space through her dreams and through some things that is significant to each dimension like their house (this house is freaking history to Kath and Lin as they keep on coming back to Kath house so it makes sense), pictures, necklace and etc. The movie shows that Kath keeps on seeing memories that is not her own, and she lived on this memory as if it's her own.  She doesn't believe it's real until she saw Lin in space, and had a moment to digest the memories.

I think Lin also travelled in dimensions but she is not a natural traveller. She only had access to space and dimension when she saw the comet or when she is on actual outer space.

2. Echo or the voice of universe --- the theory of 'we learn from our own mistake'. This realization came to me a little bit late that got me really excited to share. Lin learn from her own mistake-- in one dimension where Kath urge Lin to learn to swim because in Kath's words, 'who would save me if I'm underwater?' Lin must've regretted fearing the waters and not be able to save her love so she pass the message to her other self which in other dimension she become pro at diving, and there she successfully saved Kath. Lesson learned. 💯

3. Dark memory --- a memory that is not accessible even to Traveller. These memories are often about tragic death and/or trauma. The movie shows most of Kath's POV because she is portrayed as traveller there but pay attention to where the story end, those cliff hanger or no ending story where it randomly jumps to other dimension -- it reveals in the end that Kath died on those dimension. Kath cannot access it because she is already dead. I saw some review that say 'editing is messy it keeps on jumping', actually no because I think it's on purpose to execute the theory of Dark memory. The only time the movie shows Kath's death is on Lin's POV.

4. Uni-verse -- "you" in every space and dimension are connected. The destiny and choices Kath and Lin made every universe are interconnected. Kath and Lin will always be in opposite side, Kath wants to be underwater while Lin wants to explore outer-space, in war era they also fighting in different side 🤦‍♀️

5. Life Mission -- Kath is the greatest sacrifice for Lin to succeed her mission in life. Lin motivation to overcome the space mission is because of Kath, she wants to see Kath again. Lin is smiling while she held diver Kath because she is happy to see older version of Kath which she never had chance to see. Lin mission also benefit the human race as a whole so she needs to succeed.

6. Universe balance and paradox --- Lin will always try to save Kath but if Kath survive Lin will die so Kath will also try to save Lin. 😩 They keep on jumping dimensions to find each other, to save each other. They are stuck into that paradox until they finally accepted that there is nothing that they can do about it. In the end, they accepted the balance in universe. They both build an alternate reality within themselves or imagination that they are still together. They hold into that alternate reality but they know it is not real.

Overall movie rating: 9/10

This movie is one of those kind of masterpiece that I will watch over and over again...and will still see new perspective.
