Part 19. Uranus 🪐

The story of Gaea and Sky.

Gaea (B) is a High School teacher, teaching science subject like Chemistry and Physics, she is good at it but her heart is unhappy. She aspire to become a scientist and inventor like her father but the government forbid it and permanently closed her father's laboratory due to some issue with 'safety'. Her father went missing days after the lab closure. Their family suspect that the government has something to do with it but it is still puzzle that the government is imposing a reward of 5 Million Baht for any leads to get him back.

"I miss you, Dad." Gaea whisper as she glance to abandoned place. This was once a high technology building that her Dad and the team Uranus operates.

She was about to turn her back when she heard steps from nearby. She saw a younger lady with a camera taking pictures of the place. She recognize the face but can not recall the name of the young lady.

"Miss... you are in restricted area. You should not be here." Gaea said calling out the young one. This is consider 'dangerous' area that no one dare to step foot for 5 years now.

The lady look up to her and smile.

"I know and you should not be here too."

Gaea did not like the tone the lady used as she recall that the lady is one of her former student.

"Where is your manner? You talk to your teacher like that because you graduated already?"

"Oh! I'm so sorry Ms. Gaea. I did not mean to disrespect. I'm just here to get some pictures and then I will leave."

"It is dangerous here." She said in warning tone but the student just shrugged it off.

"If this place impose threat or danger., you will not come here often." She said and continue on taking pictures.

She knows that I come here often? Who are you?

"What is your name? I will report you to the student council."

She stop from taking pictures and approach her.

"My name is Sky but that will not help you at all as I am no longer in your school." Sky said as she show Gaea her school id. Sky is now in college.

"I see. But still, you should not be here. This is government's restricted area. You can be arrested if they caught you wandering around here."

"Then, we should both leave." She said and walk pass the teacher.

Gaea is stunned as she saw the student walk away from her. Sky turn her head back, she smile and wave her hand.

"What are you waiting for? Move! or the government will arrest us." Sky said mocking her.

She walks towards her.

"Do you know about the project Uranus?" She directly ask.

"I am part of the project." She said confidently.
