Tan's pov:

"Fang? Are you here?" I called out as I went into the condo.

My heart was pounding in my chest with worry as I toed off my shoes, taking not of his shoes that were messily discarded at the entrance.

He didn't pick up any of my calls today and when I called Kluen, he said he saw him running out of the faculty.

So I know something happened.

Something bad.

I ran inside, throwing my bag aside without caring where it landed.

I went straight to the bedroom.

He lights were off so I turned them on.

Not there.

He bed was still made like how it was when we left earlier this morning.

But...

There was a trail of clothes on the floor leading to the bathroom where the door was halfway open.

It was his uniform.

Fuck.

I rushed there, pushing the door wide open.

He scene that greeted me there was straight out of my worst nightmare.

There he was.

Laying unconscious on the floor in the shower stall on his side, the shower still raining down on him.

His skin was bright red and covered in bleeding cuts and scratches.

There were small trails of blood going down his body and mixing with the water on the floor, making a creepy pool of blood around him.

"FANG!"

I screamed as I ran to the shower stall, turning off the shower head before falling to my knees.

The water was freezing cold.

"Fang! Please, open your eyes! Please!" I held his head and tapped his cheek frantically, trying to get any kind of reaction from him.

But he remained completely unresponsive.

He was freezing.

I could barely feel his breathing as well.

Ambulance... I need to call...

No. That will take too long.

He's freezing cold and bleeding. I need to get him to the hospital now.

I reached under him and lifted him into my arms before going out of the bathroom.

I put him down on the bed and wrapped him in the duvet before rushing out.

I have no time to worry about clothes.

His health comes before anything.
.
.
.
I paced back and forth in the waiting room, heart pounding in my chest.

I couldn't get the feeling of his ice cold skin against my palms out of my head. And his complete lack of reaction was terrifying.

The nurses yelled something as they wheeled him in.

I only understood a few words like hypothermia and shock.

I know that's not good. Not even close.

What happened?

How the fuck did he end up like that?

Why did he scrub himself raw like that?

I stopped when a possibility popped into my head.
