Tan's pov:

I pushed his head back to see his face after he calmed down.

I gently dabbed my handkerchief on his cheeks to dry the tears.

He winced but didn't pull away.

The medicine will have to be reapplied...

"It stings..." He mumbled under his breath.

"I know. It's because only the outer part of your skin was peeled so it will definitely sting when water touches it." I smiled sympathetically.

I looked down at where our bodies were pressed together.

"Does it not hurt here?" I patted his side gently.

"It's ok." He tightened his grip on my shirt.

So it does hurt.

"How about you lay down and I'll hug you from behind? That way it won't press on the cuts." I suggested.

He seemed to think it over before he nodded.

Great.

I helped him lay back down.

"I'll just call the nurse so they can check you over. And then we'll cuddle ok? I promise." I reached out and pressed the button for the nurse.

He reached out and held onto my wrist but didn't protest otherwise.

I patted his hand gently, being mindful of the cuts there as well.
.
.
.
I kissed his nape as I curled around him from behind and wrapped my arms on his lower waist where I know there aren't any cuts or peeling.

He sighed softly and relaxed as we stayed like that.

"I'm sorry... For worrying you..."

"It's ok. I know you wouldn't have been thinking straight after such a thing happened." I kissed his shoulder.

He nodded. "The only thought in my head was that I needed to wash off his touch on me."

How he even got to the condo without getting into an accident is a miracle in itself.

"The others... Do they know?" He asked softly.

I hummed. "I had to tell them. I'm sorry."

"How did Phum react?"

"He's really mad. As expected. The others are the same." I answered.

He didn't say anything more.
.
.
.
I smiled as he opened his mouth as I brought a spoonful of the pasta the others brought.

He winced slightly when he pursed his lips to wipe off the sauce.

That's not going to be comfortable until they heal. They're peeled and split pretty badly after all.

"Try not to press them together or lick at them. Use a napkin to dab any residue off." I gently dabbed them with a napkin to wipe off the sauce he was trying to clean off them.

He hummed and nodded as he took the napkin from me.

"Where's Phum and Peem?" He asked as he looked at the others who were huddled around the bed, eating as well.

"I saw them at the canteen downstairs. They said they'll come in a few minutes." Pun answered.

I guess Peem managed to keep him from going and hunting Jack down.
.
.
.
I couldn't help but smile as I watched Phum hug him and snuggle close while making sure to be gentle the whole time.

Now, he looks like the younger brother.

Fang chuckled as he hugged him back and patted his back.

"We're you that worried?"
