I leaned on the stairs rails waiting for her to come out of the kitchen that she had entered .

" Skylar," Henry surprisedly called as he came out of the game room while Babi was coming out of the kitchen.

" Henry, i left my clothes in the car. Could you help me get it? " Babi said .

" Sure," Henry smiled .

" Thanks," She replied, looking up at me .

She had changed her hair to a black curly and long  . This look made her even more sophisticated and extremely sexy.

" Really," Babi asked in annoyance.

Who was she ordering and giving attitude too. She had gotten so comfortable thinking she was the lady of the house .

" The kids are home," i said .

" i know , got a call from home," Babi said rushingly, climbing the stairs .

" Did you forget something?" I asked .

" No," Babi replied.

" Instead of questioning me , go get dressed.  We are going to be late.  Jeez, " Babi said, taking the corridor to my bedroom.

I folded my lips, hiding my smile .

" Why are you here?" i asked, following her .

" Should i never have come?" Babi asked, opening the bedroom door and entering inside .

" It's not what i am saying," I replied, being careful with my choice of words.

She placed her bag ,laptop, and envelope on the ottoman, staring at me standing by the door .

" You were hesitant about going to this meeting . So i came to pick you up, " Babi said .

" So you don't trust me. I said i would be there  " I asked .

" Well , you are only proving my doubts, right?" Babi said, staring at me from head to toe .

I bent my head down, hiding my smile .

" The clothes  are here," Henry said from behind me .

" thanks Henry " Babi smiled . As i carried the wrapped clothes on hangers.

Henry wildly smiled, staring at me .

" What?" i mouthed .

" It's lovely when she is here," Henry whispered.

I didn't reply, only walked into the room, closing the door behind me .

" Are you going to wear all three?" i asked my eyes on the clothes, taking them inside the closet.

" No , " Babi said .

" i just need one good modest one . " Babi said , hurriedly walking to the bathroom.

" It's a meeting. Not anything special, " i loudly said, looking through my clothes.

Babi rushed over, entering the closet .

" You don't get it, do you.  We have never attended such a meeting, actually never appeared as there parents either " Babi said, zipping her clothes .

" Of course, we are already being judged and spoken ill about . " Babi added .

I scoffed, looking at the flashy red dress in her hands .

" Argh .." Babi rolled her eyes to my judgy face .

" we have to make a statement . Making matters worse, we are going to be judged for being young. " Babi rolled her eyes .
