The moment her cousin announced that his wife had welcomed their second child—another son—Anastasia decided it was time to return to Riverrun, this time bringing her children with her.

Returning home felt like a piece of her soul was restored. The journey had been long, but the sight of the familiar castle walls brought a sense of joy that she hadn't felt in a long time.

As their carriage approached the gates of Riverrun, Anastasia felt her heart quicken with anticipation. The drawbridge was lowered, and they crossed over the wide, flowing river. The sound of rushing water and the sight of the towering castle, with its red stone walls and elegant turrets, filled her with a profound sense of belonging. She was finally back.

The banners of House Tully fluttered proudly in the breeze. Anastasia leaned out of the carriage window, taking in the familiar sights and sounds. The scent of freshly baked bread from the kitchens, and the chirping of birds in the trees all combined to create a symphony of comfort and nostalgia.

Her children were now one year olds — almost two. Naella and Daemax were curious and energetic, while Daemian was quieter, observing the world with wide, curious eyes. Anastasia's maids, who had become like family, tended to the children with practiced ease, ensuring they were comfortable and safe during the journey.

The carriage came to a stop and Anastasia's heart swelled with emotion. She could see her family waiting for her at the entrance of the castle. Her father, Lord Pascal Tully, stood tall and proud with a smile. Anastasia was sure her mothers eyes were starting to tear up at the fact she was finally back at her home.

But it was the sight of her younger sister, Astrid, that truly brought tears to Anastasia's eyes. Astrid, now thirteen, could barely contain her excitement. She bounced on her toes, her face lit up with pure delight as she waited for her sister to disembark. The moment Anastasia stepped out of the carriage, Astrid broke into a run, her arms outstretched.

"Anastasia!" Astrid's voice rang out.

Anastasia knelt down just in time to catch her sister in a warm embrace. The force of Astrid's hug almost knocked her over, but she held on tight, savoring the feeling of being reunited with her family.

She stroked Astrid's hair. "I've missed you so much, Astrid," Anastasia said, her voice choked with emotion. "You've grown so much."

Astrid pulled back slightly, her eyes bright with unshed tears. "I've missed you too, Ana. Every day." She then handed her a beautiful flower. "For you."

Anastasia took the flower and brought it to her nose, inhaling its sweet fragrance. "Thank you, sister," she said.

Anastasia stood and turned to her parents. She smiled at her father, who stepped forward and embraced her tightly. "Welcome home, my dear," he said, "We've missed you more than words can say."
