Chapter 11

"Wow, it's massive!" Taehyung stops and points at the map board before he turns to Jungkook who is not looking at the map or the view, his eyes are stuck on Taehyung. His heart immediately stumps louder, blood flushing to his cheeks at the pleasure of being the sole focus of Jungkook's attention.

A warm hand slides into Taehyung's and pulls him toward the water.

"Why don't we look around?"

The park is busy, people having picnics, camping, playing games. Further along one of the paths, there are statues, one is a large, scary monster from a film Jungkook recognises.

"Oh yeah, they filmed The Host here."

"The what?"

"The Host, a horror-scifi film... that's the monster from it."

A little disgusted shudder travels through Taehyung and he wraps his whole arm around Jungkook's. "Oh, no wonder I don't know it then..."

"Didn't take you to be a scaredy cat."

"Hey. Just because I don't like watching them doesn't mean I'm scared." He pouts and Jungkook can't help but to laugh. He pulls Taehyung into his arms and whispers into his ear:

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe, Princess..."

Taehyung can't even bring himself to object to the teasing petname when he really does feel so safe in Jungkook's arms.

The happy squeals of children carry to them even before the reach the play park. Right on the other side, there are hundreds and hundreds of bicycles for rent.

"Hey, let's go for a ride!" Jungkook suggests. Taehyung is not keen until he sees the tandem bicycle.

"Only if we take this and I get to sit at the back." He grins.

"You're just going to make me do all the work..." Jungkook rolls his eyes.

"Well... there's that but let's not forget about the view..." He curves his hands in the air, outlining Jungkook's hourglass figure. A sudden slap on his ass makes him jump.

"Come to think of it, as much as I love the idea, we should give your behind a break... save your energies for later..." Taehyung blushes at the breaths puffing by his ear. "Let's check out the other way instead..."

"Sure."

They walk back the way they came and past the entrance, toward the Mapo Bridge. On the other side of it, the night market is already busy, set along the shallow water feature which is accessible and full of adults and children enjoying the refreshing coolness against the muggy heat.

"Oh that is surely heaven!" Taehyung pulls Jungkook straight to the water. He pulls his shoes off, rolls his pants and walks straight into the shallow water. "Ohmygod, Jungkook come in already!!"

When Jungkook takes too long to get his backpack and shoes off, Taehyung sprays him with water.

The dark look is enough to warn Taehyung, he tries to run, splashing, but Jungkook catches him with ease.

"Oh! Don't let me fall!" Taehyung squeals when Jungkook grabs him and holds him where he's just about to fall into the water. Jungkook pulls him back, wrapping arms tightly around his waist.

"I believe you started it..." Jungkook's voice is soft. Taehyung is soaking wet anyway, cheeks red, eyes sparkling, damp hair curling over his forehead. Delectable.
