ABDULLAHI's POV

All my life I've always known what I want, I have always been a straightforward person, a lot of people said I have attitude but I don't care I know who I am,
Even when Munirah told me she likes me I have liked her long before she even said it but to me she was just a small girl and I wasn't so sure how to go about it, I loved munirah a lot most of the time people in the family would say she is the one head over heels towards me unaware that I am the one she has wrapped around her fingers, I like everything about our relationship and we have really great plans for our future.

Listening to my Aunt I support my head with my hand, I don't know who gave her this ridiculous idea and now my dad is already on it, soon it will become a family drama.

"Aunty I am already engaged,
Aisha will find a man that loves her,
She's still young and I'm sure what happened will not stop her from finding love,
Men barely cares about virginity these days and I promised you I wont tell anyone about what happened I am surprised she even told you this is something she supposed to keep to herself."I say in all honesty I am pissed, I thought Aisha is sensible enough not to share something like this with anyone but the girl always prove to be stupid than how I portrayed her.

I trust only you with Aisha,
You are the only one I believe you will not judge her since you know what has happened,
Abdul she is your sister,
And I know you love munirah but sometimes we do things that are right,
You can marry them both."

Aunty,

"You saw what they did to Aisha,
You saw everything Abdul,
Don't you think you are the only man she can have closure with,
Even if Aisha married today it wont change the fact that you have seen her at her worst,
You have seen her in a state that only her husband was supposed to see her,
And even you know that each time you see her that incident will cross your mind and  especially if she isn't your maharram its sinful,
Abdul I beg you in the name of God,
If you want me to kneel for you........

"Innalilahi,
Aunty please stop."I say grabbing her not allowing her knees to touch the carpet,
I know and certainly understand her point but I don't love Aisha, I have a woman I love dearly,
I cannot make such sacrifices,
How am I even going to face munirah with this?

"Aunty.........

"But Abdul if you feel you cannot do this for Aisha it's fine,
Life is just isn't fair to her because Aisha losses the man she was going to be with the day of their wedding, now that she's about to pick up her life this thing happened,
Had it been you were not there lets assume she married without telling anyone this secret,
Don't you think the man will want to judge her?
Yes virginity doesn't matter but it brings some honor and respect in the eyes of the husband to the wife,
Are you telling me that today if you marry the woman of your dream and found out she isn't a virgin you wont be upset?
You will but you will forgive her........

"Aunty virginity is not something that ladies losses after sex alone.......

"Yes Abdul but only few men agree with that theory,
I'm not asking you to marry Aisha because those people took her pride,
I'm saying it because it's the rightful thing to do,
Please."she says and I stay quiet.
