Oblivion is Where the Ending is
Hey! Bandage," Miss Perfect slowly untangled their hand. "You wanted to see someone, right?"
"What does this have to do with the endings we need to find?" They looked away. "It's not like I could see her again, without having two keys."
Pretty beamed, "If you really love each other, maybe she'll find your way back to you? Like you're soulmates! Strings of fate don't exist, but we can dream!"
"That's stupid."
Pretty replied, "Miss Perfect cannot be stupid!" She threw her hands up. "How can you explain Miss Elegant and the Weird Hand always showing up in the stories? It's because we care about each other! The stories are all hints so we can retrieve our lost memories, and if she's that important, she'll definitely be there!" Pretty grinned, "I'll make it happen, because I'm Miss Perfect!"
It would not happen because of Miss Perfect. Someone who's actually perfect would not mess up their twin tails by throwing their hands in the air. Although she was Miss Perfect, Bandage could only see Pretty. A girl who was good company, and strangely nostalgic. Maybe, she'll be perfect in someone's eyes, but so far, she's just a whiny girl. Although, a whiny girl's better than nothing in a wasteland.
"That's so unrealistic," Bandage sighed. "It is a comforting thought, but we'd be better spending our time completing the endings."
"It is, since I have something I miss too," Pretty held her hands close to her heart, clutching her silver key. "It's a nice belief to hold, to think on late nights when you miss your old life that you can't remember." Miss Perfect blanked, trying to remember something that wasn't our cold land of nothingness, the Weird Hands, anything about her past. Ah, right, Elegant and the key.
Two things that she wants, needs, and doesn't remember.
Pretty stays silent for a while. The ringing of, "Stay with me, don't go," echoes in her ears, an almost silent instinct in her brain. But whoever that is has already left her, and she doesn't know why. She's lost her memories after all. Maybe she left them, by being in this strange world.
Whatever it is, she's grateful she had friends to miss in the first place, that she's earned enough to miss. Someone who'd accept her, ruby eyes, stealing parents, and Weird Hands.
Speaking of Weird Hands...
Miss Perfect shouted, "Ah, right, we have endings to see! Although they're fiction, they're still a bit based on their old lives!"
"Finally, we have something productive to do," Bandage mused.
"I know you can't wait any longer! Let's get started!"

{Chapter 1.4 Perfect Hypnosis: START!}
Miss Elegant was desperate. She was betrayed by her own servant, Pretty. She was the Dragon God's child, so the Elegant family spared her. She was a great friend, and even greater servant, but now Miss Elegant is greeted with a knife to her neck. Cold metal meets skin, and there's only one option for both to survive.
Hypnosis. The pendulum sways, to-and-fro, leaving Pretty into a wide eyed doll. She stares, the whole world spinning. The colors unravel behind her, and she spirals into oblivion.
Oblivion is where the ending is.
After trial and error to find Endings 1 and 2, Pretty tries to find the Truth. There's only so many combinations she hasn't tried yet.
Fusing the evidence together, with Miss Perfect hypnotized on the couch, a knife on the floor, and Miss Elegant dead, Miss Perfect and the glorified mummy have found it.
