ONCE KATERINA HAD the glass safely removed, got stitched and cleaned, she was able to get back to her home that was in obvious shambles from the night's events. Her anxiety calmed down while at the hospital; she didn't feel like she was constantly fighting off a panic attack anymore. The wait at the hospital wasn't long, because the second the receptionist saw her father's face, they rushed to please him. Katerina wanted to tell them to work on patients who were in worse condition than her but her dad said something like 'the quicker they fix you, the quicker they can help everyone else.' Which, of course, had her rolling her eyes at him.

She went home with a small bandaid on her forehead and a bandage wrapped tightly around her arm. She was able to fix up her hair a bit and tie it into a ponytail. Tony had Happy bring over some of her clothes, whatever he could find, and he came up with a black dress.

"All our work is gone." Bruce's voice was the first thing Tony and his daughter heard when they entered the room.

"Ultron cleared it out. He used the Internet as an escape hatch." Bruce continued.

"Ultron." Steve muttered in disbelief.

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance." Natasha informed them. "Probably knows more about us than we know about each other."

"He's in your files, he's in the Internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodes articulated.

"Nuclear codes." Maria realized.

"Nuclear codes." Rhodes confirmed her assumption. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."

"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead-" Natasha began, before Steve cut her off.

"He didn't say 'dead.' He said 'extinct.'"

"He also said he killed somebody." Clint added.

"There wasn't anyone else in the building."

"Yes, there was." Tony finally spoke. He clicked something, revealing what once was Jarvis.

"What?" Bruce whispered as he walked over to inspect the damage. "This is insane."

"Jarvis was the first line of defense. He would've shut Ultron down. It makes sense." Steve's arms were crossed as he looked down.

"No. Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This is.. rage."

Thor marched into the room, in full armor with Mjölnir at his side– Katerina had just realized he was not in the room– and he gripped Tony by the throat and lifted him.

Katerina was in shock as she stared at them, and the fear was shown clearly on her face. Earlier, she hadn't noticed how huge Thor actually was. Sure, she assumed since he was a god, he was definitely tall, but not that tall. It was intimidating, and, with his hand around her father's throat, scary.
