"Tell me, (Y/N)... what exactly happened between you and your stepbrothers?" Eun-ji asked after they were able to confirm that Jay and Kai had left and had cleaned everything up, the two now sitting opposite each other in the dining room. "They looked more than a little... unhinged."

    (Y/N) picked at her fingers.

"You can tell me, please," she urged her friend, her entire form tense.

"I know, it's just almost... unbelievable," she sighed, leaning backwards in her chair and running her hands through her (H/L)(H/C) hair. "I've noticed that they've been acting strangely since a while ago, but I've just ignored it. However, now that they've dragged you and others into this, I can't."

    "Others? Who?"

    Her expression immediately twisted.

"(Y/N)?" Eun-ji leaned forward as soon as she saw this, her dark hair falling across her face. "What did they do?"

"I'm not sure... I don't even have any evidence... but the way he looked at me and what he said..." she felt chills run up her arms as she thought of that day with Jay and the news on the TV that announced Olivia's and Davan's death. "You probably won't even believe me, but... I think Jay somehow killed Olivia and Davan."

    Eun-ji stared at her.

    (Y/N) looked away, obviously scared.

"You're saying... you think Jay murdered two people?" She questioned, tapping her finger against the table as she searched (Y/N)'s face and eyes.

    "Yes."

"Okay..." she nodded, breathing in deeply and trying to hide the flourish of emotions that suddenly overcame her, having been friends with Jay for as long as she remembered. "Then, what about the others? You seemed equally as cautious of Kai as you did Jay. So, I want to ask you... Ashton, Kai, Jay, Cassius, Haru, Mikael... do they... have feelings for you?"

"Huh?" (Y/N) flinched, having not expected such a question.

"So they do," Eun-ji exclaimed in disbelief, not entirely believing it even though she had been the one to ask. "How... and when were you aware of this? Why didn't you tell me?"

    "Would you have believed me?"

    "What?"

"You've known Mikael, Jay, and the others far longer than I have... and we only met a year ago," she pointed out, watching as Eun-ji's gaze drifted away from her with guilt. "Besides, I don't even want to believe any of this myself. After everything, after some of them even hated me, after trying to reinstate boundaries... this happened."

"Wow..." Eun-ji scoffed in disbelief. "What kind of fucked up story is this, huh?"

    "Yeah..."

"And what about your mom and stepfather?" The girl continued as she brushed back a lock of her long hair, staring at (Y/N) with clearly urgency in her eyes. "Do they know about any of this? Should we involve the police? If you really think Jay killed Olivia and Davan, shouldn't we report that?"

"Like I told you, there's no evidence."

    "Damn..."

And as the two girls agonized over what to do, the ones they were currently talking about were making plans of their own. Unfortunately, not all got along well with one another.

"The fuck did you just say!?" Mikael scowled as he slammed his hands down on the table he was sitting at with his brothers, glaring at Haru with hatred simmering in his golden eyes. "You told (Y/N) all that... are you fucking stupid!? It's no wonder she suddenly disappeared like this! It's all because of you and your goddamn big mouth!"

"She's just too cute~" Haru merely crooned as he leaned forward and propped his head up, his smirk an agitation to Mikael. "I couldn't resist."

"It was still risky," Ashton pinched the bridge of his nose. "And these are the consequences."

"What about the fact that Jay completely fucked everything up by basically admitting he murdered those two students," Kai muttered lowly, his expression absolutely enraged, Jay shooting him a sharp glare—his brown hair that fell over his face and created eerie shadows only enhanced this effect. "And Mikael, you aren't entirely blameless, either."

"Hah?" His eyes narrowed to slits.

"How you acted towards (Y/N) in the beginning didn't help at all."

"Haha, and you say I fucked up~" Haru chuckled teasingly towards Mikael, watching as veins scrawled across his skin from how close he was to snapping. "Well... me and (Y/N) probably did fuc—"

    He finally did snap.

Launching himself across the table and making his chair screech back, Mikael tackled Haru to the floor before socking him in the face. The absolute rage he displayed was something of abnormal quantities, continuing to do everything he could to hurt Haru to the finite point where he could never again display any sorts of affection towards (Y/N). And his brothers did nothing to step in between them, but that was only because they knew that Haru could very well hold his own.

Scratching Mikael across the face and making him reel backwards, Haru then shoved him backwards using his feet and staggered upwards.

"What the hell, man?" He chuckled softly.

"How dare you say such foul things about her..." Mikael merely spat with venom.

    Ashton sighed.

Already he could see that without (Y/N) in their grasp, they were already unraveling. Watching the fight between Mikael and Haru was enough proof to him that without her, their existence would be less than meaningful. Without her, nothing else would ever matter. And with that realization, Ashton knew that they would have to reattain her no matter the cost—even if she despised them afterwards.

"Both of you, stop," he demanded, his voice resounding around the room and making all eyes instantly turn towards him.

"Doing this will get us nowhere..." Cassius mumbled as he twisted a strand of his white hair.

"Cassius is correct," Ashton exhaled softly as he slid his hands into his pockets, his dark eyes boring into the eyes of all of his brothers. "Fighting each other won't bring (Y/N) back unless we take action and place our attention elsewhere. Besides..." His eyes slid to the side where two men stood waiting for instructions, continuing, "...we have other matters to attend to."

The two men stepped forward, the guns strapped to their sides glinting in the light.
