Snow White POV
After decades of being apart, I was reunited with my long-lost friend just a few short minutes ago. I felt the wetness on my cheek, a result of the tears that had fallen due to the overwhelming emotions I had been holding inside for so many years. Despite this, I couldn't bring myself to let go of him. I kept him in my embrace, my body trembling with nostalgic affection as I was overcome with happy memories of our time together in the past. The reunion was a bittersweet moment, filled with joy and a sense of loss, as I realized how much time had passed since we last saw each other. But I was grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with my friend, and I cherished every moment of our long-awaited reunion.
One thing that has been a source of curiosity and speculation for me is that he seems to be frozen in time, unchanged in terms of his age and appearance. Remarkably, he continues to look and be the same age as he was in the past. This phenomenon is quite unusual and has piqued my interest, leading me to ponder its possible reasons and implications. Why?
Erika: "Why?"
Erika's voice was barely a whisper, laced with a hint of accusation.
Hazel: "Hmm?"
Erika: "You remain the same as the day we said our goodbyes."
Erika's gaze dropped to their joined hands, the cool touch of his skin a constant reminder of the impossible reality they shared.
Hazel: "I don't know Erika, my memories were still hazy of how I stumbled here, except for our promises."
His voice was gentle but uncertain.
Erika gazes upon his face, a timeless visage that seems to defy the ages, as he smiles warmly at me. His dark, silky hair cascades down, inviting my touch. My fingers gently brush through the strands, feeling the softness and silkiness against my skin. I then slide my hand along his hair, guiding it to frame his face, as I continue to take in the ageless boy that is before me.
Hazel: "You've grown and changed..."
Hazel looks at her from head to body as he sees a metallic arm in her making Hazel saddens a bit.
Hazel: "How many years since we've parted, what happened to you?"
Hazel looks at Erika with worry, eyebrows furrowed. But Erika keeps stroking Hazel's cheek, as she sighs deeply.
Erika: "A lot of things happened, saving countless lives and yet, losing the comrades in arms. This happened while I was protecting a kid, I see this as an honor for a true purpose."
Erika gazed at Hazel's frowning face.
Erika: "You know, there's another promise that I wouldn't want to slip the chance."
Hazel looks at her, puzzled.
Hazel: "What is it?"
Hazel asked in confusion making as Erika moved herself, closer to Hazel's face, their noses barely touching.
Hazel: "Erika?"
She asks, surprised by Erika's sudden closeness.
*Smooched*
Out of nowhere, their lips met in a gentle collision, with Erika holding him in position, leaving Hazel stunned and motionless as he experienced a foreign sensation creeping into his mouth. Erika delicately maneuvered her tongue between Hazel's, lips leaving him momentarily frozen in place, his senses overwhelmed by the unexpected intrusion and exploring briefly in his mouth before leaving a hint of saliva behind.
