The Daily Planet's elevator doors opened with a gentle ding, letting a gorgeous woman with brown hair step out. Only to get nearly run over by an older woman wearing a promiscuous outfit.

Lois: "Hey, watch it, Cat!"

Cat Grant pushed a button on the elevator, and while waiting for the doors to close, she looked at Lois and said.

Cat: "Sorry Lois, but the mayor is having lunch at the Den. I need to get over there and get a statement!"

Lois glared her down and loudly snapped at her.

Lois: "You're gonna get a statement from me if you run me over again!"

The elevator doors closed as Cat adjusted her bra. Lois scoffed and rolled her eyes as she approached her desk. As she passed her chair, she let out a small gasp as the baby in her kicked.

Lois quickly sat in her chair and rubbed her stomach, letting out a slow breath. The pain in her stomach ad distracted her from the familiar ginger boy walking up beside her.

Jimmy: "Good morning Lois, how's the baby?"

Lois gave Jimmy a pained smile as she opened her eyes and told him.

Lois: "The baby is fine. I'm so glad all the men in my life have completely forgotten about me and only care about what's inside my uterus."

Jimmy let out a sigh and sat next to Lois, who eventually nodded her head.

Lois: "I'm sorry, I'm in pain."

Jimmy looked around the offices for a second before looking back at Lois and asking.

Jimmy: "I think I saw Jack with some Ibuprofen yesterday. Do you need some?"

Lois shook her head and told Jimmy.

Lois: "I can't take that while pregnant, I have Tylenol in my purse. Could you get me a bottle of water, please?"

Jimmy nodded his head and ran off to fetch his friend her water. The Daily Planet's elevator doors again opened, letting Clark and John step out into the lobby. Clark gently adjusted the glasses on his face as the two boys made their way towards the coffee station of the office.

John: "I think I remember this room being bigger."

Clark chuckled as he made his coffee with some milk and three sugar packets.

Clark: "I seem to remember you being smaller the last time you were here."

John rolled his eyes before spotting Lois at her desk. He smiled and ran over to the familiar reporter. He practically leaped onto her desk as he sat beside her keyboard and chuckled.

John: "Hello, Mrs. Lane, you look very pretty today."

Lois jumped a bit at the 14-year-old's sudden appearance. Then a wide smile crossed her face and she stood up hugging the boy.

Lois: "Oh John, it's so good to see you."

The boy giggled and hugged the older woman back. As they separated, John's fingers went down and gently brushed against her stomach.

John: "How has the little one been?"

Lois sat back down and sighed. Her own hand rested on her pregnant stomach.

Lois: "He's been okay. It would be a bit better if it would stop kicking, though."

John's face broke into a massive smile. He chuckled and knelt down beside Lois. John put his hand on her stomach and gently manipulated the fine muscles in both Lois and her baby.
