Chapter 11

The drive to my house was very awkward! No boy has ever given me a ride in his car! Especially not a cute Senior boy like Ashton! I don't know what to do! Like, do I start a conversation with him or just sit there silently. All I keep thinking about is how Ashton is so out of my league like Harry said. I know I shouldn't listen to him because he is only trying to bring me down but I can't help it! He is always getting into my mind and trying to bring me down, and I let him! Why do I let him?!

I am still trying to figure that out because it is one of the main reasons why I stay up at night thinking! I continually let him inside my head and bring me down. I just need to ignore him and not listen to what he says. Its easier said then done! I can't stop fiddling with my hands! Someone help me, I'm a a helpless romantic! 

On the way back to my house Ashton said he had to stop by the market and pick something up for his mom. Once we were there Ashton went to go get the food while I waited at the counter. I was standing there when someone was right behind me.

"Excuse me, sorry are you in line?" I turned around to find a boy with jet black hair with blonde tips standing there. He was tall and had tanned skin with tattoos. He was wearing black ripped skinny jeans with a band shirt that had holes in it. He was pretty attractive. 

"Uh no, sorry just waiting for some." I awkwardly moved out of the way so he could pay. I felt so nervous all of a sudden. And embarrassed. I think I have seen him at school before. 

"So who are you waiting for? Your boyfriend, if not then I would like to get to know you better!" He said with a flirtatious smirk. I just blushed like crazy and kept looking down. 

"Hey Calum, hands off she's with me." Ashton yelled appearing out of one of the isles and standing next to my side. Calum looked from me to Ashton before realization hit him and just smirked again.

"Oh so this is the girl you have been talking nonstop about in classes. Ashton I have to give you props for finding such a hottie for a girlfriend." He said while playfully punching Ashton in the arm. Shton just blushed and giggled, embarrassed of the entire situation. 

"We are not dating, yet anyway. I mean not like he was going to ask me out or anything, unless he was but I don't know." I rambled off as both boys were smirking at my awkwardness. 

"It's fine, but I would like to ask you out some time, just not infront of this one." He motioned to Calum. 

"Hey I heard that. Oh and you better before I beat you to it. This beautiful girl should have a proper boyfriend." He said making me blush even more. 

"Oh and you would be a 'proper boyfriend' to her." He said to Calum. 

"I so would, what do you know about me?" Calum asked getting defensive. 

"Oh like the time Stacy broke up with you for being a shitty boyfriend." Ashton said while pretending to think. 

"That was back in the sixth grade. Plus that girl was a major slut who was waiting for the next guy to come along to sleep with!" Calum shot back. Ashton just giggled and shook his head. 

"Whatever you say, well I better pay for the food so I can get Amy home." Ashton said motioning me towards the counter.

"Yeah, I better be getting home too. My mom will kill me if I don't get home on time. It was nice meeting you Amy and Ashton you better ask her out." He said while walking out the door of the market. 

"Sorry about him, he can be a bit...much at times." Ashton said while paying for his food. After he pays we walk outside. 

"Oh it's alright, I don't mind. He was nice just a bit flirty that's all." I say as Ashton opens the door to the car for me. I just mutter a thank you before blushing. I seem to do that a lot since I met Ashton this morning.  

We just drive in silence again to back to my house. It was really nice hanging out with Ashton like this. Where we don't have to talk to each other to have fun. We drive all the way back to my house and we get out of the car. Ashton walks me to my door like a gentleman and watches me fish my keys out of my bag. I unlock my door and begin to walk through the door before Ashton stops me. 

"Hey Amy I know we only met today and all but I would like to take you out on a date."He asks as his cheeks turn a tomatoe red and his eyes light up with hope. How can I say no to that? 

"Of course I would love to." I said as Ashton was trying to keep excitement under control. 

"Great, I will text you later and talk to you about it tomorrow, okay?" He asks.

"Sounds good." I say. He just smiles even more. Then he leans in a gives me a quick peck on the cheek. I just blush and say goodbye as he drives away. 

I walk into the house closing the door behind me and just stand there for a minute smiling. Just then my brother walks into the room with a smirk on his face. 

"Oh look someone found herself a boyfriend. Finally, I though mom would have to clean up lipstick stains off of the wall forever." He said while going into the living to watch tv. 

"Oh shutup atleast I can get a someone unlike you!" I said while walking towards the stairs. He just sticks out his tongue and gives me the finger. 

I just do the same thing and walk upstairs with the same stupid grin. Ashton asked me out. He actually likes me. I still can't believe it. I guess Harry was wrong.
