Alex stood on the wall for what felt like hours. He felt so upset that he had to miss out on the second dodgeball game. He could hear the pelting of the balls against the walls, kids shouting, and the occasional screaming from girls. He was missing all the action! All because of that snitch Jason! He took a sneak peek over his shoulder to look at the game, and he saw Jason dodging and catching balls.

"C'mon guys lets go! Let's get that guy over there out!"

The boys on his team coordinated with Jason's command and they worked together.  They went in all kinds of directions, signaling each other. They passed the ball and hit the kid they were aiming for. His team ended up winning and the boys celebrated and high-fived each other. Alex smacked his lips.

"Man whatever, wet blanket ass.."

The coach blew the whistle to signal another game and the kids stampeded each other trying to line up against the walls. Alex was fidgeting around really bad. He really, really wanted to play the last game, the bell for dismissal was going to ring any minute. He waved his hand to signal the coach, who blew the whistle to start the game. The coach didn't look his way at all.

"How rude!"

Alex turned back towards the wall. He couldn't wait for P.E. to be over, so he could leave. It was supposed to be a fun dodgeball day, but someone ruined it for him. The game went on behind him for at least 30 more minutes. Then as the kids were still playing, a loud bell rung, resonating throughout the gym. All the kids dropped the balls they were holding and hurried to get their belongings which were against the wall by the entrance. Alex ran away from the wall to get his backpack, but the coach pointed towards the wall where he just was. Alex smacked his lips.

"But I'm gonna be LATE! I gotta GO!"

"Get BACK to the wall!! NOW!"

Alex, mouth wide open, really wanted to say something. However, he knew he was one phone call away from his dad beating his ass. He kept his mouth shut and stepped back against the wall. The rest of the kids were running out of the gym, laughing and pushing past each other. Alex caught a glimpse at Jason, who eyed him back. Alex gave Jason a mean scowl. Jason returned the favor by giving him a haughty stare.

"Oh I see how it is, Its ON!"

As the last of the kids left the gym, the coach looked towards Alex with a very stern expression.

"Now what was your problem back there, Lopez?!"

Alex looked to the side, still angry from before. He didn't want to tell the coach anything, he wouldn't understand. He was always taking everyone else's side, never his. He couldn't stand it when he got in trouble for something, but everyone else got a pass. He stood there still scowling, but the coach stayed patient with him. He stood there and waited for Alex's answer. Alex knew that he had to speak eventually, or he'll be late for the Lightning Majors meeting.

He sighed real loudly.

"That fucking kid claimed I was cheating and I WASN'T! All I did was do a super move, and then he starts bitching and crying about it! Its not fair that ONLY I get in trouble because I'm BETTER than him!"

Electricity was flowing out of him, crackling as his anger rose. Despite that, the coach's neutral expression did not waver nor did he step back. Alex was close to tears, still furious. He was always getting in trouble at school and home for everything! He couldn't control himself sometimes, and he hated getting yelled at for that. The coach put his hand on Alex's shoulders, his expression changing to a more sympathetic one.
