The penthouse was unusually quiet as the night set in. Hoseok, Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jin were in the living room, the tension palpable. The other four babies had exhausted themselves from crying and were now peacefully asleep.

Hoseok had decided that the issue between Jin and Taehyung needed to be addressed before they could rest. He sat Jin on one side of the couch and Taehyung on the other, his expression stern.

The silence was broken when Hoseok began scolding Taehyung. "What you did was wrong, Taehyung. Jin is older than you, and he deserves your respect. You must never hurt him or any of your brothers ever again. Do you understand?"

Taehyung, clutching Yoongi’s t-shirt, started to cry harder. He sought warmth and comfort from Yoongi, who held him close.

Yoongi glared at Hoseok, clearly displeased with the severity of the scolding. But Hoseok wasn’t backing down. "You can't keep defending him, Yoongi. He's my brother, and I have the right to teach him what’s right and wrong."

Hoseok's anger was palpable. Yoongi sighed, trying to comfort the crying Taehyung. "Hoseok, that's enough," Yoongi said, his tone firm.

Hoseok turned his fury towards Yoongi. "No, it’s not enough. Taehyung needs to understand that what he did was unacceptable."

Yoongi continued to pat Taehyung gently. Hoseok sighed deeply and took Taehyung from Yoongi’s arms. "Apologize to Jin," he instructed Taehyung, who was still crying.

Taehyung whined and shook his head. "No! Jinnie stupid!"

Hoseok gasped, and Jin, who had been quiet until now, started crying again. "Jinnie no stupid!" Jin wailed.

Hoseok, feeling a surge of frustration and anger, laid Taehyung on the couch and started spanking him. Yoongi’s eyes widened in shock. He quickly intervened, pulling Hoseok away from Taehyung. Taehyung screamed, tears streaming down his face.

"You just like mama and papa!!" Taehyung hiccuped, his words striking a nerve.

Hoseok’s face turned white, then red with rage. He exploded, screaming, "I am nothing like them! I love you all, and I have never neglected you. Sometimes, I go without eating just so I have enough money to feed you all! I sold my body for you!"

His voice broke, and tears continued to fall from his eyes. He shook his head, feeling deeply hurt. Without another word, Hoseok stormed upstairs, entered Yoongi’s room, and slammed the door shut. He threw himself on the bed and cried himself to sleep.

Downstairs, Yoongi was left in stunned silence with two crying babies. He sighed and picked them up, petting them gently until they calmed down and fell asleep. He carried them upstairs to the guest room and laid them beside their brothers, carefully placing pillows around them to ensure they wouldn’t roll off the bed.

After ensuring the babies were safe, Yoongi went to his room. He found Hoseok asleep, his face still stained with tears. Yoongi sighed deeply, feeling the weight of the night’s events. He lay down beside Hoseok, gently wiping away the remnants of his tears. He held Hoseok tightly to his chest, offering silent comfort as they both drifted off to sleep, knowing they would have to face and settle this issue tomorrow.
