Yoongi and Hoseok were in the bathroom, the soft sound of running water filling the space as Yoongi caressed Hoseok’s back. Hoseok, his cheeks flushed from their earlier intense intercourse, was shyly washing Yoongi’s hair. The contrast between their previous passionate exchange and the tender intimacy of their bath was stark.
Yoongi chuckled when he noticed Hoseok's red cheeks. He leaned in and pecked Hoseok’s cheek, his voice gentle but teasing. “Why are you so shy now? Didn’t you enjoy it?”
Hoseok blushed even more deeply, whining, “Stop teasing me, Yoongi. You went way too hard on me.”
Yoongi closed his eyes and smiled, his expression affectionate. “You didn’t seem to mind when you were literally screaming.”
Hoseok gasped, his lips forming a pout. “That’s different…”
Yoongi laughed softly, enjoying the playful interaction. “Alright, alright. I’ll stop teasing you.”
They finished bathing and got dressed. Hoseok wore one of Yoongi’s oversized shirts, which hung loosely on him. Despite the size, Hoseok was content, feeling a sense of closeness to Yoongi through his clothes. They were heading home today, and Hoseok was happy to carry Yoongi’s clothes with him.
When they walked downstairs, they found the babies sleeping, huddled together with Jin holding them protectively in his small arms, the sight was so wholesome. Hoseok took a quick picture before he carefully picked up Jin and Namjoon, while Yoongi carried Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook. They moved the sleeping babies to the car and got them settled before Yoongi slid into the driver's seat and started driving.
The drive was quiet and comfortable until Yoongi broke the silence. He had been meaning to discuss something with Hoseok but hadn’t found the right moment.
“Hey, Hoseok,” Yoongi began, his hand gently caressing Hoseok’s thigh. “I’ve been meaning to ask you… would you like to move in with me?”
Hoseok snapped his head towards Yoongi, his eyes wide with surprise. “Move in with you? Isn’t that… a bit much? I haven’t even thanked you properly for everything, including the shopping.”
Yoongi smiled, his gaze tender. “It’s nothing. I just thought it might be nice for us to be together more often.”
Hoseok sighed, feeling overwhelmed. “You’re doing so much. I don’t even know how to process all this.”
Hoseok looked down, feeling a lump in his throat. He muttered, barely audible, “What are we?”
Yoongi didn’t hear him at first. “What did you say?”
Hoseok’s voice trembled as he asked, “What are we? What type of relationship do we have? What do I mean to you?”
Yoongi tensed, his mind racing. He cherished Hoseok deeply and never wanted to let him go, but the question left him at a loss. Was Hoseok only there for his pleasure, or was there something more? What were they really?
Hoseok looked out the window, tears welling up in his eyes. He removed Yoongi’s hand from his thigh and said quietly, “You don’t need to answer that. It’s okay.”
Yoongi felt a pang of regret. He wanted to say something, to reassure Hoseok, but his words seemed stuck. He was paralyzed by the weight of Hoseok’s question, unable to find the right words.
“Please, Hoseok…” Yoongi’s voice was barely above a whisper. “I want to give you an answer, but I’m not sure what it is right now.”
Hoseok’s tears began to fall, but he didn’t say anything more. The silence in the car was heavy, filled with unspoken feelings and unanswered questions.
